Just imagine this sound bite coming from Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. Imagine the garment-rending outrage from the people who are likely voting for Donald Trump this November.

Imagine it.

Trump was transitioning from talking about Hillary as being the head of a criminal enterprise to his laments and promises regarding poverty and crime in African American communities. During that transition, he said America is "like a third-world country."

 
This speech was today in Henderson, Nevada. And he said America is a like a third world country. The sentence stands alone. Imagine if someone on the other side had uttered it.

We are going to post the full video with some fact-checking on specific assertions he made later tonight, but that's just the extra topping. The bottom line is that he said "we're like a third world country." He said that. On stage. With his mouth.

As recent news confirms, we definitely have an epidemic of malevolent clowns in this country.

But there are those who are thoroughly intellectual dishonest and will not say a peep about this, or will excuse it away, even though they'd flip out if Hillary or Obama had said it.

If he was speaking about the level of corruption in government and in DC..... he's not wrong in that we're fast approaching the point of no return that a 3rd world craphole (See: Venezuela, Cuba, etc.) is destined (always) to experience due to liberal socialist (communist w/a smiley face) policies. 

If he was speaking about our massive debt and impending economic collapse (See:  Weimar Republic hyperinflation)... he's also not wrong that we're getting there. 

I take issue, however, with his use of the "present tense".  We're not quite there YET.  We're not like a 3rd world country YET.  But with his help and with the help of his friends in the Democratic Party....

we'll get there soon.

We are there. We are just a TWC with big screens instead of mud huts. There is no functional difference between a Bannana Republic in South America and DC. Both militaries are used as toys for the ruling party. Corruption between govt and business is total. Elections are rigged. The media is under control of the ruling party. People are thrown/kept in jail as political strategy. The genpub is run in circles to distract from rulers actions. Laws shift daily at the whim of the ruling party. Non compliant businesses are destroyed by government.

No difference.

He said this about the nations airports during the debate and my jaw dropped. Back in the 1970s and early 80s I use to fly a lot when I was in the Navy. Stationed in FL with my home in WA, I must have stopped at every major airport in between in those years, and they were not nice places. Slightly better than a Greyhound bus top, but with gauntlets of Hare Krishnas you had to make your way through, and not much to do once you are inside other than stop at a magazine stand.   Today these same major airports are like shopping malls with highbrow shops and nice places to eat or grab a coffee or espresso. Wifi stations, bars, massage spas. On a recent business trip back from Tulsa, I was blown away by what  they done to the Houston Airport. Glad my wife wasn't with because she would have spent a fortune at some of the lady's shops there.

Airports are like third world countries?   Give me a break.

And thanks to lib leftist judges, the voter ID laws are overturned so that even recent immigrants and illegals may now vote in US elections.

The beauty of it is liberalism always kills itself off. The down side is that it takes a while, then after a period of relative sanity, i rises like a zombie looking for brains. (Likely because have none of their own...which is why they are liberals).
