Kaine would only be a heartbeat away if Hillary wins. That should give even the most diehard NeverTrumpers pause.

Pence is a limp wrist and cannot take charge when he needs too when Kaine and the moderator interrupt. Pence needs to tell both of them to shut up and let him speak during his time.

Objection and put-down would go a long ways in proving he is ready for the job.

Biden is actually one of the better debaters around, Kaine isn't anywhere close to Biden in that department.

I thought Biden came across as a histrionic drunk when he debated Ryan, but experience has taught me that my read of these things rarely agrees with that of the majority.

At any rate, Pence did very good work for the Republican ticket tonight, let's see if Trump can build on that progress.
