There is a story on the internet about Georgetown U students being quoted as saying the constitution is outdated and not suitable for the times. Their sentiments are most likely felt on many college campi. You show me evidence that there's a conservative trend occurring.
It needn't follow that conservative sentiments grow as leftist structures fail. I don't know that there are any conservative structures about which to build sentiment.
During the Vietnam era it might have appeared that all college students were New Left. Then the draft was ended and that leftist thang seemed to evaporate. The center of that movement couldn't hold without the draft as a rallying cry.
The center, or centers, of the leftist movement now is all fantasy. BLM is built on fantasy and transgenderism is itself a fantasy and microagressions and so on. I think people have enough tired of the fantasy to crave some reality.
What's real is the obviously rotted economy and lack of jobs for large segments of the populace. And only the man on the orange horse is promising to fix the economy to create the jobs. And he may do enough right to get that done. Without being a proper conservative. We'll have to wait and see.
