Until Trump openly and clearly denounces his alt right fans, he is in effect renouncing me. I'll continue standing with Ted Cruz who is despised by the alt right.

Very interesting interview. Jonah Goldberg is a delight to listen to.
I'll take what he said under advisement, but I'm not yet convinced. Maybe, as with Hewitt, I'm just not sure who exactly we're talking about.
Do a search on Twitter for #altright
A few may be trolls, some may be trying to be satirical or are just trying to protest against political correctness thinking they are being funny about it, but a lot of them, most of them from what I’ve seen are openly Neo-Nazi, are White Supremacists and are virulently anti-Semitic and a lot of them are damned scary. They use the #altright hashtag in their profiles along with #whitegenocide, #RaceRealist #dailystormer, #WhiteNationalist, #DavidDukeforSenate and very often also #Trump2016 and #MAGA.….
Trump retweets another white supremacisthttp://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-gop-primary-live-updates-and-results/2016/02/donald-trump-white-supremacist-retweet-219915https://twitter.com/WhiteGenocideT1?lang=enhttps://twitter.com/whitegenocidetm?lang=enhttps://twitter.com/NeilTurner_?ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwNot only has Trump re-Tweeted those, he doesn’t block their posts some of which contain openly anti-Jewish and pro-Nazi and racist sentiments.
But to get the real flavor of what these people who use the #altright tag are all about, drill down to see who these people re-Tweet and who they follow.
A few things to note. When these posters enclose with ((( ))) for example (((neocon))) or (((they))), the mean Jews, and not in a complimentary way.
Some have taken to using ((( ))) as part of their Twitter handle to stand up against it. They are not “altright” they are standing up against anti-Semitism.
On the other hand some have starting using ))) ((( to show their being “altright” and often their support of anti-Semitism.
Twitter forbids threats. But it isn’t stopping every anti-Semitic Trump fan.

FWIW I got into it on Twitter with someone who went by the Twitter handle @matlockfan1488. He was posting some really vile stuff to Trump’s Twitter feed – all pro-Nazi, pro-Hilter, StormFront, very violent, things like advocating killing all Jews and the bleep on sight and making other threats of violence to anyone not pro-Trump or anyone who stood up to him, and has since has been banned from Twitter but not before telling me to kill myself, put a bullet in my own head before he did.
This BTW was one of his followers who is still on Twitter:
https://twitter.com/dantehicks37And yes, he’s a Trump fan.
Is that Trump’s fault? No. Should Trump do more to disavow them? IMO - Yes. Why doesn’t he?
