I think it's safe to say that those of us who support Cruz don't give him as much thought as the Trump people do.

No, we don't.  And one has to wonder though; why, with their liberal hero facing catastrophic defeat on November 8, do these liberal Trump supporters continue to look backward at their hero's primary opponent(s) when their candidate has more than he can handle trying to minimize the embarrassment of his inevitable loss to one of the worst candidates in history.

Trump is a joke, his supporters even more so.

As far as Cruz is concerned I think we look to the ideals he embodies. In other words it doesn't have to be him because others can carry those same ideals. Men like Mike Lee or Ben Sasse carry those same ideals in some form or another.

Trump is a cult of personality. He's an empty vessel that his fans imagine carrying any ideal they wish.

That's exactly right.  Trump fills the same role for his supporters that Obama did for his in 2008.  Exactly the same role.
My political philosophy:

1) I'm not bothering anybody.
2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!

The emptiness of Trump matches the emptiness within themselves. Empty headed, empty hearted. They are looking for some kind of fulfillment to occupy the hollowness within themselves, but you can't fill a gaping hole with another void.

Some women buy closets full of shoes. Some guys buy expensive cars. These people invested in a liberal fraud. None of them ever find what they are looking for. Or ever will.

Since Coulter has a terrible track record in whom she chooses to support, I hope she stays as far away from Cruz as possible.

At this point of their hero's (as we predicted) reverse-course in campaign promises...  it looks like they are indeed literally obsessed with Ted Cruz....even now.  But perhaps it's just that.... now that the only thing Trump hasn't reversed stance on is 'da wall'....all they CAN do is point to Cruz and try to distract and deflect away from Trump.  It's pathetic....and another epic FAIL on their part.

Just remember that while there is a non-stop war on Ted Cruz from these lefties, he hasn't said anything since the convention

Yup, he's gone on to doing his job. Fighting Obamacare, pushing for answers on Iran, endorsing conservative candidates.

And for those who say he hasn't done anything, he was a co sponsor of the bill that was unanimously passed and signed into law that UN diplomats who are known terrorists cannot enter the USA.

His federal and supreme court fights have done more good for Americans than the entirety of congress has done in the last 20 years.

The trumpanzees are right in being afraid of Senator Cruz.  He is the epitome of everything they are not.
Honor, integrity, intelligence, and a faithfulness to the constitution.

Trump is a cult of personality. He's an empty vessel that his fans imagine carrying any ideal they wish.

Which is exactly what the Dems did with Obama in 2008.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

True.
But it goes beyond Cruz. Those of us who favored Cruz over Trump in the primaries tend to be the limited government, Constitutional conservative wing of the GOP. Trump and his supporters are the new Progressive Nationalist Populist wing of the GOP. We are the biggest threat to their dominance. That's why they're still focused on going after Cruz and conservatives
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

  • I don't believe in Trump anymore, he's an illusion
Why would he care? Why would anyone care?

She's a joke, her endorsement is not needed or wanted. It makes no difference.
I think Ann is angry because she heard there was going to be stage production of The Nightmare Before Christmas and they wouldn't let her audition for the part of Jack Skellington, she thought she would be perfect.

But he's just a secret closet globalist trying to sell us out to (*thunder*)…Goldman Sachs. He's just doing that to dupe people for 2020.

Yeah, that's the ticket!

Rumor has it that for the taping of the upcoming Rob Lowe roast, everyone began just roasting her even more than Lowe.

And a lot of it was the small-intellect comments on appearance.  She's wrong on Trump, but what really bothers me is how low-brow and petty America has become.

Whichever Pubbie Adams Apple Annie slams is solidly confirmed a true conservative.

Wondering what jig she is plotting for with the tRump Administration? No better route than feeding the "TED" neurosis that lives in tRump's head.
