I actually have written music criticism in the past, professionally. I'm also a blues guitarist myself. And I would have killed to be able to play my
blues even once with a lineup of Miles Davis (trumpet), Stanley Turrentine (tenor saxophone), Jimmy Smith (Hammond organ), James Jamerson (bass),
and Art Blakey (drums). Or, with Muddy Waters's working group of the mid-to-late 1970s:

   @EasyAce I listened to the stuff you sent me last year, It was GREAT.  Please feel free to post any of it.  With that being said, obviously, I have moved on from the Masters and seek their protégé, who, more often than not, catch the SPIRIT of what they taught US.
