Gingrich: Trump has 'gotten the messages'

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) on Sunday said Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is turning his campaign around ahead of the general election.
 
"I think that, first of all, if you look at the last few days, I think he's gotten the messages," Gingrich said on "Fox News Sunday."
 
The GOP nominee had been facing criticism over the past few weeks for several comments that have sparked controversy.
 
Trump criticized the family of Capt. Humayun Khan, a Muslim soldier who was killed in 2004 in Iraq. He then declined to endorse Speaker Paul Ryan and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
 
On Friday, Trump endorsed the candidates.

The real problems with Roman P Trump are that he doesn't know what he doesn't know and his narcissistic personality disorder will not even allow him to consider the possibility that the first problem exists.

Trump is duller than hell when reading off a teleprompter.  Hillary is too, but that's baked into her cake.

If all Trump dishes up from here on out are canned speeches, the crowd sizes will diminish.  Only when he goes off script is he interesting, but that's also when he sticks his feet in his mouth.

Trump can't change and he won't change.   He'll get tired of being hamstrung, and sink himself further.

What all Trump's advisors and various campaign stooges should do is kidnap Trump, tie him up, and send him to a remote desert island until after the election. In the meantime they should just send a lifesize, wax dummy of Trump to speaking events with a movable mouth that speaks recorded (sane) messages with Trump's voice.

How sad is it that guys as smart as Gingrich and Giuliani are debasing themselves by trying to defend the dumb and indefensible Donald J. Trump.
