There has been much in the news lately of military families being mistreated on a national political stage.

Both candidates running for President this cycle have used their position to criticize Gold Star families. In March, Hillary Clinton called Pat Smith, who lost her son in the Benghazi attacks, a liar. Donald Trump has recently leveled attacks against Khizr Kahn, a speaker at the DNC convention who lost his son in Iraq.

True, but she was referring to Mrs Smiths assertion that we now know was absolutely correct - that Hillary knew damn well the attack on the annex in Libya had nothing to do with an inflammatory video.

So, Hillary may not have called Msr Smith a liar but she doubled down on a lie of her own to a mom who's son was killed while serving his country.
