So face it, it's Stalin or Hitler and they call that a choice?

What am I supposed to do about that?

Vote for Castle, and go fishing, that's what... and hope enough of all y'all come to your senses to make the difference.

Trump is Trump and Trump is going to do what he wants and I really don't see him listening to anyone, including Pence.  He selected Pence hoping to get conservative votes and nothing more than that.

Nope. He selected Pence to run the country while he "Makes America Grate Again." He actually said that (or his mini-me did).

So, purely in terms of justices, I think you need look at who Pence will pick, without too much interference from the Donald other than his insistence on a white dude.

I don't think Trump's massive ego and narcissism will allow him to give Pence any responsibility whatsoever.

His handlers want us to think Pence will make the ticket more conservative, but the reality of who Trump is now and always has been doesn't allow me to believe that.

I am 83 and plan to run for Miss America when I am 100.  Want to bet on that?  Be careful which side you choose.  Ask @CatherineofAragon what she thinks of my chances before you bet.

I wouldn't ever bet against you and I don't need to ask anyone!

RIGHT ON!!! Nailed it!  :patriot:

Some have proposed the idea that Pence will be the actual president with Trump as the figurehead like the story out of te Kasich camp suggested.

That's not encouraging and should scare people to death more than the idea of a Trump presidency because it means that we have a puppet government and is more than just a little criminal.

I have long believed this entire episode has been orchestrated by Bill Clintoon for the EXPRESS purpose of protecting the HUGH Criminal enterprise known as the Clintoon Foundation regardless of the election's outcome!

THIS is the attitude that really p*sses me off.

I can't believe the buffoon was dumb enough to come right out and say it.

Much like Trump's mouth.....his arrogance knows no bounds.

But he's having fun right now.  He can't lose.....since he doesn't care about winning.

Freedom of conscience and freedom of choice are both at the heart of our constitution and Trump just can't hide his hatred of them.

Trump is motivated by money and a craving for adulation and power -- and revenge.

Hillary is motivated by radical leftist ideology and a craving for power.

Yeah.  I don't want to see T R U M P in big gold letters on top of the White House.

He's like the bad future version of Biff in Back to the Future II.   Thus further proving that truth really is stranger than fiction.

It's from the David Lynch movie 'Eraserhead'.  Lynch also did 'The Elephant Man', 'Blue Velvet', 'Wild at Heart', and 'Twin Peaks'.  He might have done 'Dune' as well.  If you want the David Lynch experience, I would recommend one from that latter group.  If you want the 'Lynch on Acid' experience, 'Eraserhead' is for you.

Blue Velvet trailer.  This one really put Dennis Hopper on the map.  Language is way over the top though.  At my current age, I doubt I could watch it again.

BTW I understand Lynch has made 18 more Twin Peaks episodes to be aired next year. Some of the same cast returning.

This is exactly the kind of thing that'll have me voting for an obscure third party, or just leaving the top of the ballot blank.

No choice?  The arrogance of this man is astounding.  And the Party Insiders should be very, very afraid...this is the slow death of their power and money machine.

Sounds to me like Trump supporters are beginning to realize that their candidate has serious drawbacks, and are concocting a new story in order to get Conservatives to vote for him.

I think he's doing it to one-up Mayor Bloomberg by going the same route and declaring as a Republican.

Voted for Reagan, Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, Romney and will vote for Trump. No problem, this is who won the nomination process.

And he is against terrorism, illegal immigration, for America. I don't see the problem.

And this backtracking, doublespeaking, position-changing, shape-shifting of his doesn't give you pause?

His economic proposals, straight from Hoover and Roosevelt, don't give you pause?

Conservatives are not automatons.  He won the nomination; but he didn't win it with our support.  I understand the concept of "The Lesser of Two Evils" but he is not the lesser.  He is AT LEAST...AS evil; and maybe more so.  Certainly in different ways and maybe more dangerous ways.

He has to give me reasons to support him - that is what a campaign is for.  He has not and the reasons NOT to vote for him are stacking up fast.
