GOP Claims Equal Time Violation in DNC Coverage
« on: July 29, 2016, 01:59:51 am »
Quote
The GOP complains the major networks have lavished more prime time coverage on the Democratic convention than they they did for the GOP gathering in Cleveland last week.

According to analysis by the Republican National Committee, and released by spokesman Sean Spicer, "the networks from nights [one through three], gave the DNC 13 hours and 21 minutes of coverage, while giving the RNC 9 hours and 47 minutes during the same nights."

I don't think it'd matter.

Trump would have better numbers if he never spoke.

Someone remind them that equal time does not apply to news coverage.

Someone remind them that equal time does not apply to news coverage.

They are going after this as actual network programming versus news coverage as it is outside the regular news time slots during commercial time slots.

I anticipate the whining welcher to start tweeting how the coverage is rigged, he's being treated unfairly, the networks are in the bag for Hillary, followed with his trademarked sad, really sad or so sad ending. Of course we will know if Trump really sent the tweets himself by looking to see if the words were spelled correctly.
