I see you disagree with 240B. But didn't you just now insult him in this post?

(There's just no understanding some people. They complain that they could never support a vulgarian candidate like Trump, then they spend the rest of the time being vulgar to supporters of the Republican nominee - some who are long time members of TBR. I don't think that's very nice behavior)

So when are all of you Branch Trumpidians going to start focusing on the General Election.

Thought you guys said we HAD to have Trump to beat Hillary?

So far all I see is a bunch of people still obsessed with the guy they supposedly beat.

You act like it was your guy that came in second place with your sick obsession with continuing to trash Cruz.

It's almost like you're not really serious about winning after all... you're more concerned about bullying the very people you need to vast a vote in your favor.

That's not how you win in November.

Did you see this story @XenaLee ??

Corey Lewandowski with Hope Hicks in an undated photo.

Quote
http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/07/donald-trump-lawsuit-sam-nunberg

Donald Trump is suing a former campaign consultant for $10 million in damages, according to court filings that surfaced online Wednesday, over allegations that the aide broke his nondisclosure agreement by leaking confidential campaign information to the press.

Sam Nunberg, who worked for Trump until he was fired last year, accuses the Republican presidential nominee of retaliating against him “in a misguided attempt to cover up media coverage of an apparent affair” between two other staffers, according to an affidavit first reported by the Associated Press. Nunberg’s filing claims that Trump accused him of tipping off the New York Post about a public screaming match between Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, and his press secretary, Hope Hicks, that reportedly took place in May. In the story, the Post’s Emily Smith cites several sources as saying that the fight was “a campaign-related disagreement” over the announcement that Paul Manafort would be taking over more of Lewandowski’s campaign duties. “Hope was screaming at Corey, ‘I am done with you!’” one witness is quoted as saying. “It was ugly, she was doubled over with her fists clenched. He stood there looking shocked with his hands on his head.”

Nunberg denies being Smith’s source in his affidavit, which also suggests that the public spat was about more than just office politics. “The Trump Campaign is misguidedly and improperly attempting to use the sword of a private arbitration proceeding against me to silence media coverage of a loud and angry argument on a public street between its former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski [and] a female Trump campaign staffer, concerning their sordid and apparently illicit affair,” he says in the court filing. The affidavit refers to the argument as being the same one that was “reported in the New York Post, Page Six, on May 19, 2016.”

No, I didn't see that previously, mlizzy.  Thanks for posting it.  I stand corrected.

Ivanka should have said ""My dad hires and will hire only the best employees....until he fires them...and then sues them".

Trump's GOP happily invited a man who enables the mental illness of transgenders and even supports allowing them into bathrooms with our children to speak and attack conservatives at the convention and the the new culturally degenerate GOP claps like trained seals.

Ivanka Trump stands there and pimps universal child care and "equal" pay for women and they clap like trained seals.

Is it possible (nah....couldn't be)....that they (Trump's GOP clapping like trained seals)....are just not bright enough to discern those pertinent points you mentioned?  It's either that....or they are in on Trump's real agenda.  I wonder which it is....

Bully tactics, intimidation, threats (Don Jr., anti-Christ in training: ("Your careers are over"), and the politiks of personal destruction are all being used by Trump and his minions.  Is it any coincidence that these same tactics are always used by the radical left?  I think not.

Are Trump and his thin skinned Trumpanzees going to keep this up till November?  Trump Just Proved He’s the Sorest Winner in the History of American Politics.

Whatever arises out of the ashes of the 2016 Presidential race, I pray what survives gives birth to legitimate conservatism. That’s only going to happen if those at the grassroots level are able to discern between true conservatives and greedy opportunists. And Cruz by the courageous stand he took may be the only major Republican to emerge from the Trump fiasco with his principles largely intact.

Cruz was never told to heel...he clearly stated he would not be endorsing Trump beforehand...and he was also told the mood of the audience would not lend itself well if he didn't endorse.....he full well knew this going in....so now there's all this fallout he himself is responsible for.

And BTW...people who are speaking against what Cruz failed to do are not just Trump supporters.....rather many are former sincere Cruz supporters who are more than a bit disturbed by his behavior at convention and thereafter......it was the wrong play done at the wrong time....

LOL!  Ah...yes.  The typical and usual response from a leftie (and or Trump supporter) if or when they've been bested.  Lame, reacharound, passive aggressive and condescending drivel attempting to insult anyone they disagree with.

And since you're so concerned about my well being...here is my prescription for you.  Lay off the wine, follow your own advice about the meds, and buy a clue.  You certainly need it.

Yes, you are right. It was unfair for me to post and leave like that. I simply do not have the time you guys have. I have things I have to do and places to be. But, we can talk more later sometime. I have to go now.

Trump became responsible for all of this drama when he made the decision to take his campaign down into the sewer.

It was a calculated strategy and he'd do it all again if he could because he's a showman interested in making money before he's a leader.

Cruz, Lee, Sasse, and a handful of others. Even Kasich has held firm to his principles and at least wears his establishment uniform with pride. Most of the rest are mewling little toadies licking the boots of Orange Glorious in hopes that he'll shed a little grace on them.

' legitimate '...conservatism?????  ...... that will never come about as is proven in every election.  You cannot dictate to a public who has no interest in 'legalistic' conservatism. ...which is why those who promote this will never garner the candidate or support of.  Most grass root conservatives understand who they are and are not defined by a legalistic approach in the political environment today. Rather they understand they are "free" and for that are able to discern the reality of the political environment and what needs to be accomplished thru and by it.

Of course Trumps responsible for the drama....why would you expect otherwise?  This nation's public, on a whole, has been in a sewer for decades, he simply got on their level and drew them out.....it worked....they became part of his stage and he gave them hope. Truly did and has given them a voice.

Nobody has been "had"....they simply believe this man will at least do some of what he's saying he will do for this country. Which if even only quarter of what he hopes he will still be far ahead of what Hillary will do in setraoying any hope at all......

That makes about as much sense as an off script Trump campaign speech.

Which is to say none at all.

The Progressive Nationalism Populism you cheerlead for with Trump will lead to a landslide defeat of the same proportions as Reagan's victory.

It was pretty much implied, and obviously the Trump campaign has attempted to punish him both on the floor of the convention whipping up delegates and in the media.

I do love though how Cruz lives rent free in Trump's head.

Trump also has a very vindictive (Read:  Evil) side.  When I read about how, when he couldn't get a life-time tenant removed  from a building he wanted to tear down, he intentionally and quite deliberately attempted to devalue the property and destroy the tennants' investment and equity by trying to move homeless men into the building.  That's about as low as it gets right there.  Thus proving, Trump is more than any mere bully.  He uses his vast wealth not for good, but for evil.

Oh I don't think you're correct by any means.....Reagan was not a "legalistic" Conservative as we see so many thumping today.....and furthermore you're underestimating all which brought Trump the victory he holds today......there is a public involved, and though may not be to your liking it is the momentum that has brought him to the place he now stands.

It will be a tough race ahead for it's not just the Clinton/Obama Machinery he'll be up against....... but all those who have lined their pockets in one form or another along the way......and they will fight hard to sustain that comfort. Even Cruz spoke often of this.

Factor in the  supposedly FBI leaks which indicated that if the full truth about the Clintons, and particularly the Clinton Foundation, was to come out... that there are many in our government  involved in the corruption that it could bring down the entire government, on both sides of the aisles..as well as those Leaders in foreign governments ...thus why the decision was made not to prosecute....and this Powerhouse that has protected her will be out in force against Trump.

The long term impression of Cruz's speech is that he was a warrior and the only national figure on the political stage to show obeisance to the nation's founding principles, at possibly great cost to himself, while everyone else worshiped a personality.

Thank you for showing you know nothing about what it means to be a Constitutional Conservative.

You have also shown or indicated absolutely nothing that would inspire anyone on the fence to change their mind and vote for Trump.

You simply keep repeating empty mindless talking points you shove together into long unorganized paragraphs hoping it sounds smart.

Hope and change isn't the way to beat Hillary.

Neither is the abnormal obsession Trump and his supporters have with Cruz.

Good luck with your defeat in November.

Well, you actually defined who you are by the signature left of #NeverTrump......which i do believe quite possible had Cruz endorsed Trump you will still hold to. So Cruz's behavior would not be an issue for you.

For me it is good and right to stand on principles....but there is a limit to making 'those plays' in the political arena when your country is in peril and under threat by the Powers that be coming against it thru the Clinton/Obama Machinery and many others...including Isis and their cohorts.  Furthermore there is a time and place to stand.....the convention was not that place when the idea behind a convention is to unit against the foe........Cruz failed greatly when he alone could have well used this opportunity to show there are some things far more significant than if your wife and father are insulted in a political race, which requires a strong back to endure....he couldn't stand the heat....nor does he now.
