A top leader of the radical People's New Black Panther Party says his group wants to gain major footholds in five Southern states to establish "our own government in a nation within a nation."

Babu Omowale, the party's national minister of defense, told Breitbart News' Aaron Klein on his radio show, which aired Sunday on New York's AM 970 The Answer and News Talk 990 AM in Philadelphia:

"We just need to start migrating back to those states and taking control of the economics in those states. If black people move in, most definitely white people will move out. So it's not a hard process for us to have our own country within a country …

"The end game is land ownership. The endgame is our own government in a nation within a nation. Okay. So we claim the states of Louisiana, we claim the states of Mississippi, we claim the states of South Carolina, we claim the states of Alabama, and we claim the states of Georgia."

Omowale described the group's goals in the aftermath of the killings of two African Americans by police officers in Louisiana and Minnesota, followed by the mass murder of five police officers in Dallas by a sniper.

Excellent plan.  In 2 years the corruption would be so bad it will look like most African countries, and civil war will be close behind.  The "refugees" will clamor--with the encouragement of the Western Left--for asylum in and/or handouts from the countries which actually produce stuff.

By slave states, you must mean the original thirteen colonies that were founded with slavery as legal. The institutional of slavery, as odious as it is, was part of civilization from the start. It is still practiced today in muslim countries.

Everyone needs to place blame where it belongs for the institution of slavery here in the US - Britain and Spain. To a lesser degree, France.

Interestingly, the importation of slaves into the US was outlawed in 1808. But as we all know it took another 50 years and half million lives before it was banned outright.

Most intelligent people knew the issue would be resolved as it was from before the time this nation was founded.

I thought it was interesting to make notice that the states this racist group wants to call home is where they have exclaimed over the past 50 years to be the most racist states. True southerners knew it not to be true, but now I want some Yankees to notice where the promise land really is.

TYPICAL liberal wonks- now that the states are all set up with infrastructure, businesses- roads, buildings, homes, stores, water supply, sewer, etc etc etc they decide they want to take them over for themselves? How about we set them up out in the deserts or deep wilderness somewhere with absolutely nothing- let them begin their own utopia just the way our forefathers had to- with practically nothing- no running water, no sewer, no indoor plumbing, no homes, no starbucks stores, no toilet paper- no refrigeration- nothing-

Why should they demand we hand over everything our forefathers worked for to them? That's what they mean when they say they want their own nation within our nation- they want to walk in and take over what this country has already established- all the hard work is done already- and they want to confiscate it?

I remember as a kid there was some Black activist movement encouraging all Black people in America to move to California. The idea being the same one being proffered here, that eventually they could take it over and 'claim' it.

The results were almost the same then as they are today. A lot of White people supported the effort, and were actually willing to fund Blacks to move out of their State to California. And then, as today, Black people are not nearly as united or as stupid as the Black activists and Democrats think they are. Most Black people realize that their bread is buttered by being a full participant in American society, not a separatist. They are not stupid enough to want to live under the rule of Farrakhan/Malcolm X or Jackson, or any of the other freaks who claim to represent 'Black America'. So, the movement never really got started and sort of just fizzed out.

But it is true that if Black Americans decided they wanted some sort of fund for them to be able to return to Africa, to return to the Motherland, there would be no shortage of donors to help them along.
