Montel Williams: 'NO Civilized Society Can Tolerate Shooting at Cops'

Talk show host, motivational speaker and actor Montel Williams has been commenting on social media about the events in Dallas.

On July 7 snipers opened fire on police officers in Dallas, killing five and injuring seven. Three suspects are in custody and a fourth died in a standoff with police.

In two Facebook posts, Williams criticized "any black person...who would engage in violence towards the police or 'white people," writing that such people are "EQUALLY EVIL AS THE KKK." He also wrote that "racism is real" and that in "communities of color...there is a genuine fear of death by cop."

Williams concluded, "ALL OF US NEED TO DO BETTER."
