That is patently absurd. If there was a Conservative bone in his body, then all y'all would be defending him by way of Conservative principles... and you and I would be seeing eye to eye. That is far, far away from being the case.
How are these Trump positions not conservative?

 Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the sh@t out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
Trump is for America First.

He changed his mind on all those.   Please start a new list.

I didn't assert a anyone was Left wing....I asserted you used Left wing tactics. That said, had I made such a suggestion it would be no more absurd than the many similar accusations that myself, mechanicos, or RIV are not strong conservatives. Or that Mr Trump is not a Conservative...hint: he is, though he once was not.

You are what you do.

I couldn't care less about positions. Campaign promises aren't worth the breath it takes to make them.

Ted Cruz is living proof of that axiom...take an oath to support the nominee, and walk away from it when its inconvenient for him. Good example, roamer.

"Oath'??? Or 'Pledge'?

Irrelevant anyway.  If Cruz suspects what some of us do, that Trump is just Hildabeast's stalking horse - then any 'pledge' or 'oath' is irrelevant because he has no obligation to support a Trojan Horse.

I certainly wouldn't.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Mesaclone, sometimes in life, you have to change your opinion based on new evidence.  After DT so clearly revealed his character in personal attacks on Mr. Cruz and his family and his other opponents (Republican that is.  He's gone very easy on the Dems) Mr. Cruz would be clearly in the wrong to support DT for president of our nation.

That's a silly claim on your part.

Trump is not yet the nominee.

If something like this happens, I will have my TV tuned to the convention every moment possible.  My fear is that they will stop Trump but not be able to replace him with a viable candidate to beat Hillary.  At this point, I would even support Rubio if he ended up as the candidate.

This is the only scenario that I'm interested in.  I don't care who Trump's Veep pick is.  I don't care what he says anymore.

I just want a different candidate ... please!  Ted Cruz would be ideal but I'll take anybody.  Anybody Else.

Two points. 1) What impact does that have on actual legislation? and 2) do you seriously expect a man to endorse someone who insulted him so personally? Even Trump demanded he be treated kindly in order to consider the oath valid; under Trump's own standards, Cruz is bound to nothing.

What, are you kidding? Any obligation to any oath is provided on good faith. Good faith went out the window when Trump first lied about Cruz... and is surely gone by the time Trump disparaged his wife and father.

Not only is Cruz released from obligation, all he owes Trump is an economy-sized ass-whooping.

I agree, I don't care what Trump says or does at this point.  I can support "almost" anybody else.  Jeb Bush would be a tough one because I don't think he could beat Hillary either.
