Quote
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Thursday vowed to issue an executive order to mandate the death penalty for anyone who kills a police officer.

“One of the first things I’d do in terms of executive order, if I win, will be to sign a strong, strong statement that would go out to the country, out to the world, anybody killing a police man, a police woman, a police officer, anybody killing a police officer, the death penalty is going to happen,” he said.

“We can’t let this go,” he added, speaking to a New Hampshire crowd alongside the New England Police Benevolent Association, shortly after the group voted to endorse Trump.

Trump once again proves he doesn't care about the Constitution or the misuse of executive orders by a President.

Trump demonstrates once again that he couldn't pass a 5th grade civics test.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Or a 5th grade vocabulary test for that matter.

There is a 10th amendment issue there but have no fear, several twitterTrumpers have informed me that police can be federalized to get around that musty old constitution.

The Constitution makes it clear that unless we are dealing with a military issue, all capital offenses are to be judged by citizens, not the government- IE, a jury. This is a very, very, very important distinction because it removes the most serious punishment- depriving one of life, out of the hands of a centralized government and hands that power back to the citizens to decide.

Quote
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Clear violation of the 10th Amendment..

Actually 5th and 6th Amendments because it prevents even State governments from being final arbiter in capital offenses where one is deprived of life. All death penalty cases are judged by a jury of citizens.

He will lay his King's sword on the victim's shoulder and say, "I deem you dead."  That only takes four words to kill people and he memorized the word, "deem" so he could use it.

The only time the feds may impose a death penalty for murder or whatnot in a non capital punishment state is when the crime occurs on federal property. There is plenty of debate there and the feds usually stay out of it unless its on a military base or something similar. Crimes in national parks are usually handed over to the state.

A man murdered his wife at Pictured Rocks national lakeshore here in Michigan some years back. The FBI investigated it but the feds handed it back over to the state for prosecution and the man got life in prison.

King Trumpy of Orangehead will rule by decree.   "Here ye, here ye...... be it known to all manner of men through out the Kingdom of King Trumpy, that his majesty King Trumpy hereby decrees......."    That sort of law and order.
America needs God's forgiveness....... Even if Donald Trump doesn't think he does.

Under stupid Trump's logic if a person loses their brakes and accidentally rear ends and kills a cop, they will be executed.

Hmmmmmm......

You see, this would affect the Trump supporters if somehow a cop was killed - wait, Trump will only hurt OTHER people, NOT his supporters./s  The supporters haven't figured out yet that they are on the serving plate for Trump to dump in the trash whenever he wants.

Trump is probably the most ignorant person we have ever had running for any office. The thing that's scary, however, is not Trump but his supporters. How can anybody take this orange loon seriously?

Hillary is evil and thoroughly corrupt, and got and kept her SOS job only because Obama wanted to pretend that he got along well with the Clintons (hoping to assuage the Clinton Dems).  So she's incompetent, too, and she was totally marginalized as SOS. However, I think most voters would see even this as being better than some completely ignorant, unstable and unpredictable nutcase.

Somebody, please get this orange freak guy out of the running. With any even boring and liberal candidate (including Kasich, who seems to be the only one still standing), we could win this.  And things are in such a desperate state now in this country that we have to have committed leadership capable of rallying everybody - not a nut bag who thinks being president means sitting on the throne of Jupiter and "firing" people he doesn't like at that particular moment while a canned applause track runs in the background.

His supporters keep forgetting that he considers them all losers by his definition.

Nobody gets their own dictator as Ernst Röhm could attest if his dictator hadn't had him killed.
