Rep. Richmond: Members of Congress 'Co-Conspirators in the Devaluation' of Black Lives
By Susan Jones | July 8, 2016 | 11:30 AM EDT
Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-La., and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus, shown here on Thursday, July 7, 2016, want Congress to hold a hearing on the recent shootings of black men by police. (AP Photo)

(CNSNews.com)  - "I would have to say today is probably the angriest I've ever been while addressing the public and the media," Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.) told a news conference convened by the Congressional Black Caucus on Friday.

"And I share the anger of our young kids. When we look at this Congress, we can do nothing but conclude that they are co-conspirators in the devaluation of the lives of men and women of color. And that the systematic devaluation -- from mass incarceration to the lack of investment in communities -- show that we have little faith or concern about their futures."

Blah, blah, blah, blah.  Its all been said before by people of every skin color and congress, including the black caucus, has done nothing.  Just a thought here.  Maybe, just maybe, instead of congress spending so much energy and money on illegal immigrants and mooslims from other countries, they might find the energy and money to do something for citizens of this country.  What this guy has done in reality is open the bidding, and money in the pocket, for the attention of the black caucus which is more interested in their own gravy train than in the lives of American citizens, regardless of color.

Take it up with the democrats who have long since declared that blacks are pitiful hopeless creatures without their oh so benevolent guiding hand.

I thought things would have changed after Robert Byrd's funeral.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

You got that right.
