Can't vouch for the complete accuracy (could be a hoaxing site), but there is a website:  http://www.freethedelegates.com/

There is also a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/freethedelegates

So everyone on both sides of this is clear, the temporary rules today provide a mechanism for the delegates to vote elsewhere should Cleveland become dangerous.

Quote
PROCEEDINGS OF NATIONAL CONVENTION
RULE NO. 37
Roll Call
(e) If the Republican National Committee determines that the national convention cannot convene or is unable to conduct its business either within the convention site or within the convention city, then and only then, the roll call for nomination for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States shall be allowed to be conducted according to procedures authorized by the Republican National Committee.

Given the threats Trump supporters have already made against the delegates, they may very well have to exercise that option.

I took a look at the website.  It says it's not raising money right now, so not sure why this blog article says that they are.

@BuckeyeTexan Thank you for that info on voting location.

They may not be accepting donations from the general public yet.  They most likely have to be careful with that to avoid running afoul of all the various election laws.

It's not a far-fetched scenario in my opinion. Sadly.
