Sadly, apparently that's what the neverTrumps are hoping for.
It's not a matter of hope. We see clearly what you willfully blinded yourself to. Since you recently brought up FR I'd point to them as an example of people willingly blinding themselves to facts, history and logical reason.
Now many of us outside the self imposed dome of Trump devotion can and have objectively looked at the raw numbers and rightly concluded that while some misguided people may well install Donald Trump as the GOP nominee, he will most likely repeat his predicessor's performance due to his outright rejection of conservative values, principles and historical positions.
This is why his numbers are literally upside down with higher unfavorables than favorables across all demographics.
His at best, plurality, will most likely result in another defeat for which his true believers will blame on conservatives. However, we told you, and have told you throughout the primaries. We will not vote for a liberal. You should have taken that to heart because we proved it in 12 and we are no less serious this election.
Had you thought this through, you would have correctly concluded that you will not win without us, just as Romeny did not, and abandoned the fools errand of trying to nominate another liberal loser.
But you didn't. You empowered him to trash the one actual conservative running. You rallied not behind a conservative, when you claim to want conservatism, but behind a liberal when you claim to oppose liberalism. Your hubris is America's problem. You qwn it. You own Trump and you own every bit of damage he causes whether or not he ends up elected.
Thats your legacy. Thats how history will record it. And your descendants will always live with the burdens of your stubborn choices.
