‘Nonviolent’ Drug Offender Rapes Woman Hours After Early Release From Jail

President Obama is trying to cement his legacy as an bleep by letting thousands of “nonviolent” offenders out of jail early, including muggers, rapists, and gun offenders. Under pressure from Black Lives Matter, Hillary Clinton supports ending “mass incarceration” by releasing hundreds of thousands of hardcore criminals onto our streets. Another facet of this liberal push to stop holding criminals accountable is to simply stop policing, arresting, and convicting mostly non-whites when they commit horrible acts against society. Am I the only person that sees a problem with this?
Nothing illustrates the insanity of the liberal “justice reform” movement more than a terrible crime in Los Angeles this week. A career scumbag doing time on a drug charge was released early and didn’t even make it to lunch before he raped a woman at gunpoint. Yeah, this was one of Obama and Hillary’s so called nonviolent drug offenders.
FOX News reports that 27-year old Edgar Alexander Lobos was serving time in the Los Angeles County jail for a drug-related parole violation. He is a known gang member and has previously been convicted of assault and weapons felonies. Because LA County Jail is so overcrowded, Lobos was released after serving about a third of his sentence. Just after midnight on Sunday, he walked out of jail a free man.
Hours later Lobos was in an East LA park trying to strike up a conversation with a woman. She tried to ignore him so he put a gun to her head and forced her into a public restroom. He then proceeded to rape the woman at gunpoint.
Not only is this a cautionary tale against justice reform, it’s proof that gun control laws do nothing to stop criminals. Lobos is a convicted felon, with a previous conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was in California, which has some of the toughest gun control laws in the country, and Los Angeles, which has even tougher gun control laws. Yet somehow, only hours after getting out of jail, he got a hold of gun. Could it be that laws only apply to people willing to follow them?
The rape victim as well as several other witnesses were able to identify Lobos, who apparently has some really cool face tattoos. He was picked up almost immediately by LAPD. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of a small caliber firearm that the police believe he used in the rape. He faces forcible sodomy, kidnapping, and weapons violation charges and could go to jail for life if convicted.
Try to imagine what happened in LA this week times a couple hundred thousand. That’s what will happen if Hillary Clinton and the democrats are able to enact their justice system reforms. Actually it will be much worse than that. Not only will she let all of the violent “nonviolent” pieces of shit of jail, she won’t put ‘em behind bars in the first place. The streets will be flooded with violent predators who have no fear of law enforcement or justice.
Now combine that with Hillary’s plan to disarm the good people of America and you have a perfect storm: criminals aren’t afraid of jail and law-abiding people have no means to defend themselves. What could possibly go wrong?
