Rolling Hills of the Palouse was a strange pick for Idaho. I'm not sure it make my top 10, but to each their own. Must have been a flatlander that made the list.

Will have to add some of these to the bucklist though.

I wondered what they would pick for Texas.  So many choices.  But, Hamilton Pool was a pretty good one.

I was hoping that would be the one that was chosen, but I've seen pictures that were prettier than the one that they used.

Yeah, I thought so too... There's a whole lot of pretty up in the panhandle. Glacier was a no-brainer for MT. Let 'em think it so... But if you've got a horse and a week...

I thought that Big Sur was odd for California, but there are so many choices that I suppose that it is niceto have a lesser known spot featured.

Likewise for Wisconsin (a lesser known spot, picked out  of many possibilities).



The Apostle Islands Ice Caves are  accessible only during the occasional winter with a hard freeze that will allow the visitor to transverse a mile of Lake Superior when it is frozen. I've never seen them and am unlikely to ever do so.
