Practically everybody with a smattering of knowledge of Western religion already knows about Ishtar/Esther/etc.   Practically everyone in Western Christianity also knows that the Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs are things with pagan origin.  But that's beside the point.  Christians don't care about rabbits and eggs on Resurrection Day, so disdaining the celebration that most folks happen to call Easter, for whatever weird reason of etymology, is disastrous, friend.

I am among many sinners at my Church saved by grace through faith in Christ.
If Trump requested membership, he would be asked about his testimony.  If it didn't show an understanding of the Gospel, then they would explain it to him.

Your knowledge of historical theology seems to be a bit garbled, but I will cut to the chase:  I see no more reason to believe that Trump is a Christian--just because he says that he is--than to believe that Obama is a Christian--just because he says that he is.

But I could certainly answer the question better than Trump. And to any Calvinist, shoot, any Christian of any liturgical or Protestant line, Easter is THE most holy day. That he couldn't answer the question is a profound blunder.

Christians certainly do struggle with sins.  Trump, however, wallows in sin--and does it in public, with no apology to anyone, especially not to God.

Nonetheless, it is established in US history, and enacted by US government.

'Christian' Holidays are Biblical, or enacted by a faith (Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, etc...), and transcend national borders.

No one celebrates Thanksgiving day except US citizens.

Thanksgiving is not a Christian holiday, it's a harvest festival, according to most legends first celebrated by the Pilgrims at Plymouth Plantation. Yes, the Pilgrims were Christian, and it was a way of giving thanks to God for the bounty of the harvest, but that doesn't make it a Christian holiday. The fact that you don't appear to know the distinction is interesting.
