Half a Million People to Boycott Target Over Bathroom Policy
« on: April 26, 2016, 02:54:42 pm »
I usually shop at Target on average at least once a week.  No more.  This is the 3rd time they have acted in the name of political correctness.  One of the reasons I shop there is because it's closer to my house than other stores.  I'll drive the extra miles.

Half a Million People to Boycott Target Over Bathroom Policy -

Target is facing backlash over its decision to allow transgendered individuals to use whichever bathroom they’d like.

The American Family Association, a conservative Christian organization, has circulated a petition to boycott Target over its transgender bathroom policy. USA Today reports that the petition has already accumulated 517,000 signatures since its launch on Wednesday of last week.

"This is the best response we’ve ever had this quick," says AFA President Tim Wildmon, attributing the protest's viral nature to the fact that "everybody knows who Target is, and it’s an easy-to-understand issue."

Wildmon says Target stands "to lose a lot of customers who won't come back." But Target is standing by its policy.

Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder affirmed that even in light of the boycott, Target plans to continue its current bathroom policy.

"As a company that firmly stands behind what it means to offer our team an inclusive place to work — and our guests an inclusive place to shop — we continue to believe that this is the right thing for Target."

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

A guy was just arrested in a woman's dressing room at Target, he had a record and he was armed.

But Target was probably fine with it.

Obviously Target wasn't fine with it.  The guy was arrested.

Unfortunately, this is only the beginning of perverts taking advantage of the 'gender confusion' situation.  Target will change their tune once they begin to realize it's costing them revenue and are slapped with a lawsuit.
