I don't agree with Trump, but this was a smart move on his part. The primary is basically over. He can't do anything about the North Carolina law, and transgendered people are not the focus of this campaign. He figured that if he voiced support for the law, then Hillary and the liberal media would attack him on this until November. This election is about immigration, trade, etc., and he doesn't want to lose focus on those issues.
That's a very good point. Trump is running against Hillary now.
This is one I don't agree with Trump on, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. Right now, he is being asked gotcha questions like crazy - he is being targeted because he is the frontrunner. I expect to hear a lot of crap like that - it's just manufactured diversion to keep Hillary looking good and the Republicans looking like monsters.
Personally, I think that transgender people need a lot of psychological and medical testing done before having something like that done - to the point of it being extremely rare. I do not think it should be mainstreamed into our culture. Soon, every sitcom will have to have that one transgender character.
