He's still mesmerized by his appearance with Commie thug Raul Castro yesterday.

There is a fantasy leftist world Obama celebrated in totalitarian Cuba yesterday and a real world he's facing after the events in Belgium this morning.    There's little doubt which world The Man Child prefers to inhabit.

By Jordan Fabian - 03/22/16 02:30 PM EDT
President Obama attended an exhibition baseball game in Havana on Tuesday, an act of sports diplomacy meant to highlight the cultural ties between the U.S. and Cuba.

Obama went ahead with his plan to attend the game despite calls from Republicans to cut his Cuba trip short due to Tuesday morning’s terror attacks in Belgium.

The president addressed the attacks during an in-game interview with ESPN, saying the U.S. will continue to go after the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which claimed responsibility for them.

“This is just one more example of why the entire world has to unite against these terrorists," he said. "The notion that any political agenda would justify the killing of innocent people like this is ... is beyond the pale."

The president and first family entered Havana’s Estadio Latinoamericano just before 2 p.m. to a standing ovation from the invitation-only crowd of around 50,000.

Obama took a seat next to Cuban President Raúl Castro in the front row behind home plate.

The two leaders stood and bowed their heads for a minute's silence to honor the victims of the attacks in Brussels, which left at least 34 people dead.

Tuesday afternoon’s game between Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Tampa Bay Rays and the Cuban national team has been one of the most-anticipated events of Obama’s historic two-day visit to the communist island nation.

The president and the Cubans are hoping the baseball game could help break down economic barriers between the two nations.

Rather than place direct pressure on Cuba to open up its political system, Obama is betting that closer economic and cultural ties will spur the Castro government to adopt reforms.

MLB is in talks with U.S. and Cuban officials to allow Cuban players to sign directly with American pro teams. Currently, Cubans have to defect from the island to play in the majors.

Obama was accompanied by Rachel Robinson, the widow of the player who broke MLB’s color barrier, Jackie Robinson, who attended spring training in Cuba with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947.

The president, first lady Michelle Obama and Castro joined the energetic Cuban crowd in The Wave before the first pitch was thrown.

Cuban players came over to the home plate area to salute Castro after they were introduced. Rays players then lined up to shake hands with Obama.

“Way to represent,” Obama told one of the Tampa players.

Rays outfielder Dayron Varona, the first-ever player to defect and return to play in Cuba, led off the game. He popped out to second on the first pitch.

Republicans pilloried Obama for his decision to attend the game. Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), a 2016 presidential candidate, said Obama should be heading back to the U.S. or to Brussels.

"President Obama is spending his time going to baseball games with the Castros,” Cruz said, according to ABC News.

Earlier Tuesday, Obama delivered a speech to the Cuban people, in which he condemned the attacks, and met with dissidents and civil society members.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Obama looked “ridiculous” speaking in Cuba while the situation in Brussels unfolded.

Trump: Obama looks 'ridiculous' in Cuba amid Brussels

By Jesse Byrnes

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Tuesday argued that President Obama appeared "ridiculous" speaking in Cuba in the wake of terrorist attacks in Belgium.
"President Obama looks and sounds so ridiculous making his speech in Cuba, especially in the shadows of Brussels. He is being treated badly!" Trump tweeted.

Others on social media noted that Obama's remarks in Cuba were played on a split screen with the immediate aftermath of violence in Brussels.

The coordinated attacks early Tuesday morning in Brussels left at least 34 people dead and dozens more injured after a string of blasts at an airport and near a metro station.

Obama addressed the attacks in Brussels at the beginning of his remarks to Cuban leaders, where he emphasized a need to focus on protecting human rights.

“This is yet another reminder the world must unite. We must be together, regardless of nationality or race or faith, in fighting against the scourge of terrorism,” Obama said.
Obama condemned the violence, saying the U.S. would do "whatever is necessary" to bring justice to those behind the "outrageous attacks" in Europe.

The president also phoned Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel to offer condolences and offer U.S. assistance in the investigation, according to the White House.

Still, some Republicans, including Trump's presidential rivals Ted Cruz and John Kasich, called for the president to cut short his historic trip to Cuba to return to the United States in the wake of the attack.

Why, my friend, should Imam Obama be concerned about this?  After all, Brussels is the heart of the EU and headquarters for NATO, so they'll take care of it, right?  Its just an attack on the western alliances and Europe.  Besides, the dead are probably crackers so its no biggy. :peeonobama:

Obama gets my vote for contempt.  The big difference between the two is Carter was incapable, inept, and clueless.  Obama is trying to destroy  America, the spirit of the people, the Constitution, the law, and Europe's respect.  He's been very successful so far.

The old peanut farmer has proven himself to be almost as much of an America hater as Obama. But you're right, Carter did his damage mostly through incompetence, whereas Obama is doing damage intentionally, and is aided by the media every step of the way.

Obama Does The Wave With Castro Before Baseball Game In Cuba
by Charlie Spiering22 Mar 2016

Despite the terrorist attack in Brussels, President Obama and his family attended the scheduled exhibition baseball game between the Cuban national team and the Tampa Bay Rays in Cuba this afternoon.

The crowd cheered when Obama and Cuban president Raul Castro arrived at the national stadium in Havana.

Obama wore sunglasses as he sat behind home plate with Castro, protected by a net, while chewing Nicorette gum as he applauded the players of both teams.

Obama and the First family joined Castro in doing the “wave” at one point before the game, together with the Cuban attendees.  ...[/quote]

But wait! There's more!   Obama: Attending Cuba Baseball Game with Castro Sends Message to Terrorists
Quote
...  During an interview with ESPN, one of the hosts at the game asked Obama why he could sit and enjoy the game after a devastating attack.

“It’s always a challenge when you have a terrorist attack anywhere in the world, particularly of this age of 24/7 news coverage. You want to be respectful and understand the gravity of the situation, but the whole premise of terrorism is to try to disrupt people’s ordinary lives.

Obama compared his decision to the Boston Red Sox’s decision to play a game shortly after the Boston Marathon bombing, to show a united front to the world.

“That is the kind of resilience and the kind of strength that we have to continually show in the face of these terrorists,” he said.

He argued that the only weapon that terrorists had was fear.  ...
Okay, fear and bombs. And guns. And boxcutters.  Fear and bombs and guns and boxcutters. But if we attend baseball games, we will defeat them!

Its a little like the way cruise missiles were launched at some target in the Middle East whenever Bile Clinton got caught in a little tryst.

Why doesn't he send letters to the families of those killed in Belgium and tell them that? :bullie smokin:

The war on Libya(which was not a war, as usual) was launched from Hawaii, while he was on vacation.

Coincidence?
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

Obama defends decision to attend ballgame in Cuba in wake of terror attacks

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Tuesday, March 22, 2016

If you can’t watch a ballgame in Cuba, the terrorists win.

That was essentially President Obama’s answer for why he attended a game in Havana Tuesday between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cuban national team.

Asked if he considered not attending the game due to the terrorist attacks in Brussels, Mr. Obama told ESPN, “It’s always a challenge when you have a terrorist attack anywhere in the world, particularly in this age of 24/7 news coverage.”

“You want to be respectful and understand the gravity of the situation, but the whole premise of terrorism is to try to disrupt people’s ordinary lives,” the president said.

At the game, there was a moment of silence for the terrorist attacks, during which the Obamas and Cuban President Raul Castro stood.
