(CNN)In a sign of just how much the Republican presidential primary has turned the party on its head, Sen. Lindsey Graham will host a fundraiser on Monday in support of Sen. Ted Cruz.

A draft of the invitation, obtained first by CNN, invites guests to "honor and support a great friend of Israel and the Jewish people," at a meet-and-greet event that will take place during the AIPAC policy conference in Washington next week.

Graham, who ended his bid for the Republican nomination last December, originally threw his support behind former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and campaign for him in South Carolina.

Support for Cruz is an about-face for the South Carolina senator, who compared nominating GOP front-runer Donald Trump or Cruz to being shot or poisoned. He recently mocked Cruz's unpopularity among his colleagues, saying earlier this month: "If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you."

Well Cruz is now 100% GOProg.  Such a rebel!

Not at all.  The way I see it ... right now they need him more then he needs them.  They should make 'nice' to Cruz now, before he is seated in the oval office. I think they are beginning to realize he isn't going to back down.  Imagine ... a president with some backbone for once!! Imagine a president who actually does what he says!!

Ted Cruz 2016!  Reigniting the Promise of America!!!!

So do I understand this to mean that you no longer support the Constitutionalist, Ted Cruz, as you once claimed you did?

Color me shocked........

I saw someone on one of these boards post the slogan:  Make America Constitutional Again.  I think that would be great for Cruz to use.

I LOVE that!  Somebody needs to get that to his campaign office!!

Nope.  This is an establishment guy helping Cruz.  The goal is to wake up the establishment and get them working for us again.  If they will do that, great.  If not, replace them.  But to just wipe everyone out who is or has been associated with them is to be entirely self defeating.  If they want to help Cruz I say, "Welcome aboard."

OK I can get that but Cruz should not be on the same stage ever with this turd.  Let Lindsey have his GOProg fundraisers but Cruz needs to make damn clear that he is not beholden to the Rovians and the Kochs.

I agree.  But I haven't a clue how to do it.

Me neither......

libertybele??  Do you know how to get this saying to the Cruz campaign headquarters?  It should be considered.

Cruz's slogan is "Reigniting the Promise of America"!  Very fit as he WILL reignite the promise of America!

Perhaps the easiest way ... drop the slogan on their facebook page. I think it will catch on!  I will drop an e-mail too -- see what happens.

Sent an e-mail to my regional coordinator ... this is part of reply:

A draft of the invitation, obtained first by CNN, invites guests to "honor and support a great friend of Israel and the Jewish people"

The Cruz campaign just gets more pathetic with each passing day. You would think that as  his opponents drop out leaving their voters stranded that he would stick that much harder to conservative principles, and NOT "Go RINO".

HEY! DUMMY! Listen to the people, not that blackmailed homosexual from South Carolina. What the American people want is a President that is A GREAT FRIEND OF AMERICAN AND WHO SUPPORTS THE CONSITUTION AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

Or am I wrong, and Israel somehow became another US state while I was taking a nap?

Yep odd how the Puppy Pound that was so busy using the "Guilt By Associations" attacks on Trump the last two weeks suddenly is shocked to discover those types of smears can be used against them just as easily.

It's called building out your base of support.  Something Trump knows nothing about.

It doesn't work that way. The globalist bankers that pull the puppet strings on people like Lady Lindsey don't "give" money or support to anyone. They SELL it in exchange for future favors and the with each "favor" granted they gain more blackmail material to hold over your head.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GIFT TO POLITICIANS FROM THE RULING CLASS! They ALWAYS want something in return, and that something is always ownership of the politican.

I can't speak for  him,but I dropped all support and plans on voting for Cruz when he let the Bush Crime Family nose under the tent by hiring Neil Bush for his campaign. Now he is crawling in bed with Lady Lindsey and the Pro-Israel crowd,I am ashamed of ever having supporting him.

Bleep Cruz!

NOT going to happen. He has to appear on stage with them to prove they own him,or there won't be any money or other support coming from them.

He does have total control over who he appears on stage with, though. If he appears on stage with them and thanks them,he's in their bag.

Bleep Cruz!

But funneling millions of dollars into the Hitlary crime family, Pelosi and Reid are pure and noble things. Called Hitlary "talented" and called Bill his favorite President of the last 25 years. At least the people Cruz is working with came to him. Donny openly went to the Rat Socialist bastards he praised and payed.

Are you sure you want to just burn down the GOP or do you want to strengthen the policies of the Left as well?
