Look it up?  Where?  On the internet?  Links to NBC/CBS/Reuters/Associated Press?

The ones that perpetually revise monthly/quarterly employment numbers?  On page 12 B?

Ok then we optimists, who want to fix what is broken rather then deny anything is broken, will leave the GOP to the screaming hysterics in the "Conservative" media.

Result? The Purity Choir can then worry about how to get their purity candidate elected dog catcher in Nome while the adults get busy with the real issues facing the country

We adults would love to get started dealing with the real issues, but we're being hamstrung by the Trumpettes' temper tantrums.

No...rather it's more a case of dancing with the one I came with.

I have Fred Astaire.  You have Elaine.

You can rephrase it however you like, but the fact remains that you're supporting someone whose ideas and policies you doubt simply because you like the way he makes you feel.  That's a cult of personality.  Look it up.

Optimism: Here are the problem here are the solutions, let us get busy.

Denial: There are no problems and you are all a bunch of poopy heads for saying there are problems.

Which of the above do the screaming "Hate Trump Always" commentators sound like?

We're the first sort; but we're frustrated to the point of screaming by the Trumpettes' cult of personality involving a person who has no realistic solutions to any of the problems facing the country.  Nothing Trump has said will fix any of the problems this country faces.  45% tariffs, trade wars, and protectionism will destroy this country economically.  Trying to turn the southern land border into Fortress America will not solve the issues bedeviling the immigration system (even if a perfectly impervious wall could be built along the border with Mexico, illegals would simply start coming in by boat to California, Texas, Louisiana, etc).

So if you really want to help us start fixing the problems, dry your tears, put away childish things and cults of personality, and roll your sleeves up.

As a response to the post I responded to?  Yes.  Read it. I'm sorry if you don't like the characterization, but it is true nonetheless.

Rubio had an optimistic message. Gone now.

Marco Rubio projected a muddled message. He was weak, inexperienced and lacked even the basics of managing people. He had no experience in putting together a working administration. The guy was a light weight and loser.

If you want some nuance from us in understanding Trump than you had better lead by example.  Rubio was not perfect but neither was he the strawman you portray.

You really want an answer?  How's the fact that the American people elected Obama twice?  The electorates taste for stupidity knows no bounds.

Let's discuss this like gentlemen.

The reason Floridians went overwhelmingly for Trump is because it's a State chock full of producers and retirees who've set goals and realized them.

They don't recognize anything when they look around but they know they don't like it.

Our own government is tilling the populace soil.

And seniors are upset they're not leaving a better America for their children and grandchildren.

That's being played out/applied by millions of blue-collar Americans whose twenty-something children are still sleeping under your roof.

The immigrant issue will play out.  Not important to me in the overall scheme of things.

But I want to see at the very least, incentives in the way of lower..or NO corporate taxes for incentivizing manufacturing's return to America.

I want to see Obamacare killed and the free markets allowed to sell health insurance in any damned state they wish.

I want to see HVAC, electrical, plumbing, stone masons in demand again.

The real problem is...is there more of them than there are of us?   Is it too late?

Americans decided that electing politically-correct, afraid-of-their-own-shadow poltroons like McCain and Romney would be even more stupid, or perhaps just useless. They spit the lukewarm out of their mouth.  They may have been wrong, but when given those choices it was not at all unreasonable.

The people agree with you. I think they're wrong.

We shall see in November.

Trump has succeeded in splitting up the GOP irretrievably.  When Trump loses to Clinton or Sanders there will be hell to pay, particularly because he will have cost us the Supreme Court for 30-40 years.  Trumpettes will either have to form their own third party or be left with the dead husk of the GOP.

I kinda expect to see the regular GOP walk out to form a new party, leaving Trump and his kind to inherit the GOP and all it's baggage.
