It does do some nice things that are very useful. Like music, quick math, distances, or general quesitons. You just got to be careful to unplug it when warranted.
Sadly, no such device understands redneck.., So its usefulness is seldom worth any more than the hilarity that often ensues when a command is given.
And BTW, I find my mind to be much sharper when I actually do the math myself. I used to hold nearly two hundred phone numbers in my head... Now I can barely remember my own... That, I assure you, is an atrophy that improves the more I quit relying on computers to do it for me. YMMV.
