Ah. The all important financial incentive.
Bet one or two will like an increase.
I once gave an evaluation of zero to a supervisor, that is zero merit review.
I added that compensation to another supervisors evaluation. This leader had
led the department in many goals.
I told the leader what I did, and said it probably wouldn't be repeated and that
it wasn't a favor but for actual merit. When I retired 4 years later, I promoted
that leader to my own position with my bosses agreement.
It is good to reward key people when you can.
