Shoot. With all that, you should have a mast and a hay tarp... Cheap as hell one direction... But coming back against a 40 mi. headwind probably eats the difference.

Just time your trip to coincide with the High pressure systems...
It isn't bad in the Suburban. No matter were I went in my 1-ton van, I had a headwind..

About the freakiest wind I ever dealt with was about 60 MPH crosswind on a Superglide, dragging a footpeg just to keep it in the lane headed west. I turned South, and then could light up a smoke doing 60 (with a Zippo) and not behind a windshield, either. Only problem is, home was north...>sigh< another late night....
