Did industrial field work like that in my life as a stop-gap. All men and one female. Started going out with her.
Cutie Hispanic bonita. I would do my own work and then track where she was and help her do hers when I had time.
She worked the field for a few weeks until they pulled her to customer support (which is where she belonged).
I got a real better job and moved on. Nope. Cannot see women climbing the pole in 100 degree sun and running line.
Maybe? But I can't see it happening.

It isn't for everyone, and that's something that needs to be acknowledged. Same with all those jobs and more.

Sitting in an office doing paperwork isn't the same as climbing a derrick, a power pole, or any of a multitude of other jobs.
If people want the same pay, do the same work.
