All I am doing, is giving a heads-up to Cruz supporters, so they can start preparing for what they will be up against, from Hillary's excellent campaign research capabilities.

Cruz is a target rich environment. Anointed, he is. Like it or not, many Americans are repelled by the religious right extremes.

I guess it all depends on what you consider "religious extremism".  It really is quite sad when those who believe and honor the Constitution, believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and honor God the Almighty are considered extremists.  Our country was founded upon Christian beliefs and the Constitution is one of the greatest documents ever written.  Perhaps people will have a change in perspective as to what extremism is in this country when Sharia law is implemented and our Constitution no longer exists.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I fully agree. I am merely giving some information to show that the opponents are a very target rich environments.

I happen to hold pretty low views of the worst of the religious right. I am open about it. I can and do name names.

I think my revulsion started when I realized they were scamming poor helpless, often elderly people on fixed incomes, of their money.

Send me money. I do miracles. I heal the sick. Send me money. Probably the 1970s. Then in later decades we find Rev. Ted Haggard doing oral sex and snorting meth. We have Benny Hinn. We have Tammy Faye Bakker.

Is it all of them? No it is not. Is it enough of them, that I wish the good ones would speak out very loudly and clearly? Yes. Do I hear that? No I do not.

It can and will be used against Ted and his father. Go to 3:00 on this video, of Marjoe Gortner (Marjoe Counts the Money)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-C3trU9ljw

Did you experience any revulsion at Trump University bilking retirees and those on fixed incomes out of thousands of dollars, promising "riches" that never materialized?

Quote
“Trump’s business education company and an affiliate, Trump Institute, have been deluged by complaints from more than 150 students in at least 22 states claiming they’ve been cheated out of tens of thousands of dollars, the Daily News found. Those complaining include dozens of retirees, veterans, laid-off workers and seniors living on fixed incomes, records show.” (New York Daily News, 05/30/10)

... The only candidate that hasn't been vetted on purpose by the MSM is Donny. He has so much they haven't touched that it will be a field day for them should he squeak out a win in the Primary.

It's pretty surprising how little comment there has been about that. Up to this last week if all you knew about Trump was what the media had been reporting since he announced his bogus run for President, you would think he had been born last year.

And given that he is an absolute attention whore that has spent his entire life in the NYC area and touching noses with every SOB up there that has any influence or media attention at all, there has to be tons of stories about how corrupt he is and how much he lies.

Has there EVER been an alleged Right Wing candidate for the WH that has received LESS negative press from the media and the DNC?

Yet dummies still believe he really is running for president, and that he will be elected.

One way or the other, the cord will be pulled on his campaign just before or just after the primary if he wins it.

You mean the Kasich who has yet to win even one of his own party's primaries? Who currently has a total of 63 pledged delegates (compared to Trump's 460)? Who more often than not finishes in his own party's primaries in the single digits? Who at the best he could do came in second in New Hampshire?

Yep. Given his performance within his own party he definitely is the guy to beat Hillary. After all, the polls, but maybe not the actual votes, show it.

Hey! Give him a break! Kasich only needs to win 112 percent of the remaining primary votes to win it!

Our country was founded upon Christian beliefs...

Absolutely untrue. I know it is popular to spout that nonsense in Christian churches, but even the 10 Commandments existed before Christ was born. The Christian religion did the same thing every other religion has done since the dawn of time, they stole good ideas from earlier civilizations, and claimed them for their own.

If the country had been founded on Christian beliefs as you and all the other Christians claim, why isn't the Christian religion the official state religion?

What the FF did was create a form of government where religious freedom was guaranteed,NOT mandatory. They well understood the dangers of state sponsored religions, and were 100 percent against them and firm in their desire to prevent that from happening here.

Which is why it is NOT un-Constitutional to ban Islam and Muslims from entering our country, never mind staying here. Islam is NOT a religion,it is a form of Fascist government that enslaves everyone under it's domain.

Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that?
It's becoming clear that, with the exception of a few "true believers," there are some on this board who apparently have been secretly taking benefits to support Trump or participating in some sort of social experiment the past couple of months, because their abrupt change in behavior toward Trump shilling has been pretty obvious.

Only the Federal government was prevented from adopting an official religion.

Many of the states did have state-supported Christian denominations which were not prohibited by the 1st Amendment.

How can that possibly be legal, since such a thing would violate the individual freedoms of citizens of other beliefs, and even no beliefs at all? If religion is anything,it's about dogma and forcing people to accept it.

Do you have any states in mind as examples

Wrong.  Jesus Christ existed from the beginning.  He was.  God created in our image.  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  There are many references to Christ in the OT.  Maybe we could discuss this in Religion section?

Do you have any states in mind as examples

Connecticut, Massachusetts, and several other states declared official churches. New Hampshire passed laws that  until the mid-1800s that kept non-Protestants from holding public office.   Certainly they taught you that the colonies had "established religions", and it was as hard to part ways with as was slavery. If the Constitution would have outlawed the new states from continuing the recognized churched, the document would have never been signed.

a few examples you are looking for:

New York
Official Religion: Anglican/Church of England
Ended in 1846

Massachusetts
Official Religion: Congregational Church
Ended in 1833

Maryland
Official Religion: Anglican/Church of England
Ended in 1867

Well maybe you should think twice about starting a thread with a title in BOLD LETTERs implying Christians want Gays to die. Absolutely we are going to show up here and defend our Faith, And we will say we believe just the opposite than you think we do, for we want gays to live, as we do the prostitute, the thief, the porn addict, the gang member, and all those who sin, for none of us are clean. Not one.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but the Supreme Court of 1892 didn't write the Constitution, and the Constitution was written long before 1892.

There are reasons why we do not have religious threads. And if you need to ask why just looked back through this thread. We have enough political discourse here to carry us for years. So all we need is have the same thing going on on a religions thread.

. So with that get back on topic
