And so it starts......Voters For Trump Ad - SNL
« on: March 06, 2016, 02:59:19 pm »
“Saturday Night Live” was back this week with a new political spoof. This week, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump was the target.

The segment parodied the standard campaign ad, with one little twist.

The spoof ad SNL put out is meant to be funny. The ones Hillary and her Super PACS are writing and filming will be devastating. This is a tiny taste of what will be on wall-to-wall if Trump is our nominee. It’s just a fact. Doesn’t matter if it’s right or fair.

This straight from the Saul Alinsky playbook should be very familiar to us. Its sick, it groundless, but it keeps the opponent always on the defensive. . Granted, this one is a spoof, meant for the progressives and brainless twits who watch the show to have a good laugh at the Republicans expense. But real ads not a whole lot different are coming to a TV near you. If Trump does win the nomination, that CNN video of him refusing to disavow the KKK and David Duke, playing dumb not even sure who they were, will be played 24/7. (And before you Trump people freak out, it doesn’t matter what or who he disavowed before or after that interview. THAT is the one that will be played)

That ad is devastating.  Funny, too.  That's what we'll see in the fall, but only more targeted.

All the Democrats have to do is play Trump's own words. He convicts himself of waffling on Duke and the KKK, of flip-flopping in a 24 hour period, of making statements that parents are ashamed of.
Roy Moore's "spiritual warfare" is driving past a junior high without stopping.

It should be so easy to defeat Hillary Clinton this year - she's so corrupt and distrusted that millions just need the excuse of an acceptable alternative.   Instead we're preparing to anoint Trump, the one candidate that takes the spotlight off Clinton's perfidies, the one candidate with worse unfavorables; the one candidate that can't criticize the Clinton Foundation.

In short,  the one candidate that Clinton most wants to run against.

And, yeah,  he'll torn apart by the charges of bigotry, which will by extension reflect on his supporters and the GOP itself.

He turns the GOP brand to mud.

Unless you are a political news junkie like we are, most voting people - "the man on the street", haven't a clue about the email scandal and really don't care (after all its only email to them). And they  know little to nothing  about Benghazi. The ads that will be shown on either of these subject will I'm afraid have little effect.
