Rubio made the not so subtle attack on the size of Trump's penis, so the blame of this issue clearly lies on Rubio.  Trump, however, should not have responded on a public debate stage in the manner he responded.

Actually, no. Last night, Trump brought up the size of his hands and then focused on his priapus. It's ALL on him.

Rubio brought up the size of his HANDS!  It was Trump who took it further, on national television during a presidential debate.  It was Trump who started the unwarranted, deplorable attacks months ago.  Yes, Rubio has stooped as low as Trump.

With all that being said.  Neither Trump or Rubio are worthy to be president.  America deserves better!

Wait just a minute - when the DT detractors said that the "Romney would go down on his knees" remark was sexual in nature, you DT'ers said no way.  When Rubio says DT has small hands, you say that is sexual?  Which is it?

I don't care who started it, who baited who, etc, etc.  Was there not an elegant or dignified way to bring the conversation back to a serious level?   

Seriously, I don't get it.  Are we really trying to defend the embarrassment we have become? I can only imagine the elation on the DNC front.

I never thought that in my lifetime I'd see the words "penis" and "Presidential Debate" in the same headline.  But now that I think about it, maybe it should have happened sooner.

Agree Lando but think back to the last 2 presidential elections and debates with the democrats.
Our guys just sat there and let Obama beat them about the head and shoulders and actually laughed at Romney.

Peggy Noonan's latest opinion piece agrees. Whether the establishment eventually supports Trump or successfully stops Trump, the party is forever changed because of Trump.

My opinion here now: that's a good thing.

I don't see how moving the discussion away from hand sizes in a mature manner has anything to do with being tough with the Democrat nominee.  Quite the opposite, in fact.  It was Junior High School in my view.  These people on stage are asking us to vote for them for President of the United States.  The President of the United States.  I guess I'm stodgy and anachronistic.  I respect tough, no-nonsense push back.  Lines clearly drawn.  Command and leadership.  I want it, expect it, hope for it.  But, can't it be done with decorum befitting of the office?

This - what we have - is an embarrassment.  Yet, we enable it like giggling teenagers in the back of the room.  I'm sorry, I wish to offend no one.  But, I don't get it.  I don't know how to express it in any other way.
