Caitlyn Jenner revealed in a new interview that she likes Ted Cruz despite his past remarks on transgender issues and would like to serve as the Texas senator's "trans ambassador" if he wins the presidency.

"I think he's very conservative, and a great constitutionalist, and a very articulate man," the Olympic champion and reality television star told The Advocate in an interview published Wednesday evening. "I haven't endorsed him or anything like that. But I also think, he's an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues."

Despite those concerns, Jenner, a Republican, said she found Cruz to be "very nice" when they met before her transition and hoped he would be open to her counsel if he's elected in November.

Enlighten me ... what exactly would be the duties of a trans-ambassador and why does 'it' think Cruz would want 'it' as part of his administration?

Frankly, I think Trump would be much more accommodating to 'it'.  They both obviously think the presidency and the electoral process is a joke.

Trump is picking up Christie voters and Cruz is picking up crossdressers. I don't know which is worse.

BTW, did Bruce endorse a high heel as well? I'm partial to Manolo myself.

Yea, never heard of a trans-ambassador....

What is troubling me about this is the dems saw the hysteria around the david duke thing with trump so now, IMO, they set this up to drive Cruz's points down...
'it' did not think this up all alone...

I had to fix the title for accuracy. (S)he didn't quite endorse him but did speak well of much of his platform.

Jenner's known to be a Republican. I think that most people, although they may not agree with it, realize that Jenner's free to do whatever (s)he wants to his(her) body. It's not like people are going to say "Ew. Bruce Jenner endorsed Cruz! All the better to support TRUMP! Real women love him!" It's not really relevant to most people.

In contrast, David Duke is toxic, as he represents white supremacy, a "wrong thought" in modern society. Transgenderism is not a "wrong thought."

For one Jenner will never be female. Having said that until he cuts off his junk, he is a cross-dresser.
