Huckabee Slams GOP Establishment "Bed-Wetting" Over Donald TrumpMike Huckabee came out against Republicans who are concerned about nominating Donald Trump after his victories on Super Tuesday. "The establishment Republicans are all, you know, bed-wetting over this," Huckabee said on "Fox and Friends" Wednesday morning, adding, "They don't seem to understand that we have an election."
"If you want to oppose Donald Trump, do it. But don't pretend somehow that all these voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid," Huckabee said. "They're not stupid... they're angry."
"Paul Ryan and other people in Washington need to recognize the reason Trump is winning is because they feel like people in Washington have helped them lose, and they're sick of it," Huckabee said.
MIKE HUCKABEE: Let's remember that we have an election process, not a selection process.
If we're going to do this election where the party bosses get together and they close the doors, lock the doors, and make the decision for us... Don't waste our time and money going through this lengthy, grueling process called an election, just annoint somebody and be done with it, but that is why we have an election. If Donald Trump is the nominee, then I challenge Republicans to get behind him. If it is Ted Cruz, get behind him, if it is Marco Rubio get behind him, Ben Carson or John Kasich. That's what we do as a party. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/03/02/huckabee_slams_gop_establishment_bed-wetting_over_donald_trump.html
