Considering that we already know how many once-sane Americans have handed their brains over to Trump, why should it surprise us that some of those are in the Congress? Stupid people do stupid things. When Churchill said democracy was the worst form of government, that he followed up with "except all the others" (to paraphrase) was not meant to return democracy to the realm of respectability, it was simply to underline that it was the least evil of the evil choices. The crucial difference between democracy and all the rest is that when stupid people do stupid things, they get to own their stupidity in a democratic system; in all the rest they can always find a scapegoat to point the finger at.
I have no qualms about admitting that there is a significant probability that Trump will be the nominee. It's a fact, sitting there as plain as the present the neighbor's dog leaves on the lawn every morning, and just as fragrant. But I have the right to point out the remarkably similar nature of that fragrance, and to rub it into the noses of the pups who've left the metaphorical present.
If Sen. Sessions wants to join the confederacy of dunces, that is his choice.
You do have the right.
But after Super Tuesday's results come in, I'm calling for a cease and desist.
If you keep your antics up...well...you're going to be leaving with some friends of yours.
Or else, the SHIT is really going to fly.
Donald Trump is the ONLY one building the party. If you cannot be a team player, there's the door.
Am I being presumptuous?
"Well...to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I lost count myself. Did I fire 5 shots or 6?
Do you feel lucky, punk?"
This place is going to change next week like it or not. I'm planting the flag right here.
Your ilk have make our home an outhouse.
