Children of Salman bin Abdulaziz have been asked by his doctors to cancel all his appointments and meetings amid news suggesting the worsening conditions of the Saudi King, a Palestinian newspaper has reported on Thursday.

The 80-year old Salman is increasingly losing his consciousness and understanding as well as his ability to speak. He sometimes even faints, writes Almanar newspaper quoting unnamed sources.

Doctors have suggested the King's family that he should be kept away from others in order to avoid disclosing his worsening conditions. This means that King Salman should live in seclusion in one of the rooms of his own palace, writes the paper.

Almanar further cited its sources as saying that the Saudi monarch has lost his emotional and psychological balance and has no clear understanding of what is going on around him.

This is while, sources told the Palestinian paper, that officials and members of the kingdom family are engaged in hidden struggles over expanding their influence and capturing more positions.

Something tells me that within only a few more years, the House of Saud is going to rapidly turn into a house of cards.

And then it will become isis' turn to play its hand...
