Congress Will Do Nothing about Obama's Unconstitutional Gun Legislation
Posted 17 hours ago by Joe Scudder filed under Constitution, Gun Control, Second Amendment, Congress

We have had plenty of time to be ready for Barack Obama's executive orders. So what is Congress' plan? Virtually nothing.

The gun issue comes up 19 seconds into the video.

Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) says that Barack Obama's executive orders are unconstitutional. So what will Congress do?

They will litigate.

As the discussion explains well, Congress can't count on the courts and, even if the judges follow the Constitution, it will take a long time for the courts to finally overrule Obama. The President will probably leave office with his executive orders intact.

This is another reason it was so stupid for Congress to throw away the power of the purse. It is Congress' only real leverage and they refused to use it.

Challenging the degree of care or thought in the article; it is NOT "legislation."

But what level of care, thought, accuracy do you expect from the deluge of stuff from obscure, fringe "sources?"
