BREAKING: Harry Reid Caught in Multi-BILLION Dollar Corruption Scandal

The only surprise here is it is actually being investigated.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is one of the most hated leaders in Congress, largely due to his unethical behavior and scandalous charges of corruption.

The Nevada Democrat has recently been hit with yet another allegation of unethical corruption, as he now stands accused of steering billions of taxpayer dollars into guaranteed loans, grants and subsidies for several “green energy” corporations in or near Nevada.

It just so happens that many of these corporations and groups that received federal money are owned or run by Reid’s supporters, friends, family and former staffers....

Interestingly enough, this is just about kickbacks and corruption with the clean energy commission. Reid has long been accused/known to be in the pay to play game with Casino and real estate moguls in Vegas and all over the Southwest as well.

For example, in 1998, Reid joined partner Jay Brown in investing $400,000 in some dirt located on the outskirts of Las Vegas. By 2004, the property just happened to be rezoned for a shopping center and Reid cashed in for $1.1 million.

In 2002, Reid put $10,000 into an investment fund of another good friend, Clair Haycock. The fund bought some land in Bullhead City, Arizona, for which, according to the Los Angeles Times, it paid just 10 percent of its estimated value. Reid sponsored an $18-million earmark for a bridge that would — again, conveniently — connect Bullhead City with Laughlin, Nevada, greatly increasing the value of his land. Reid now carries that investment on his financial statement as worth between $250,000 and $500,000.

He’s also used his insider knowledge to great personal benefit. In 2005, he invested between $50,000 and $100,000 in the Dow Jones U.S. Energy Sector Fund, paying $29 a share. Three years later he sold out at $42 a share. Two months later, according to O’Neal, Reid supported legislation that would cost energy companies millions in new taxes and regulatory fees. The fund dropped to half its value, but by then Reid was long gone.....

You should live here in Vegas...there was a time in the 90's and 00's, not as much today thankfully - that the Reid family ruled here completely.  Harry was a senior senator who damn near ran the BLM and Reclamation himself (most of the land in Nevada is federal land under BLM and it is sold off in parcels for development or other activities - a giant cash cow then in wildly growing Vegas). And then there was Rory Reid, Harry's son, who was a long time chair of the Clark County Commission - which ruled over development permits and land use planning in Clark County, including The Strip.

I don't care who you are, you didn't build a thing here - even if your name was Sheldon Adelson or Steve Wynn - without kissing the Reid Ring.  There is a very large high rise hotel built in the late 90's towering above the Strip, emblazoned across the top in bright, large lights seen from everywhere on The Strip is one word: TRUMP.  Yeah he contributed to Reid. That building - like any building in Vegas including those built by the aforementioned Republican money-men Wynn and Adelson - would not be there without that contribution.
