A former top FBI official is warning that the Paris attack may only be the beginning of the bloodshed the Western world will suffer at the hands of ISIS. Worse yet, he believes future attacks will be even more vicious.
In an interview with The Daily Caller, former FBI counterterrorism expert Eric O’Neill said he believes the Paris attacks indicate ISIS is testing a model of “small randomized attacks” that the group plans to later unleash on cities all over the world.
“I think this was a test to see how well this could work in a city. Can we coordinate it? Can we effectively carry it out,” O’Neill said. “My sense is they are benchmarking themselves. They are going to see if this could be deployed somewhere else because if this was a test, then they passed.”
