I think anyone on our side, and probably Webb on the Dem side, woudn't take Islamist crap.

You may be right, but I'd like them to give it a voice. This is more of the Republican way of not saying anything that might offend anyone, then, if they somehow win, capitulate.

But you don't 'know' for sure....because nobody's stepped up and said so.

Nobody, except Donald Trump.
Now you're just lying.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Your rant sounds nearly pathological.

Take it from somebody that WAS drafted, served my time for my country: It would most likely do you a lot of good. That is what most MEN that served, say.
What the hell is that supposed to imply? I'm not a man, because I'm not military material?

I'm not the one running my mouth demanding we start another warfront. That is Miss Pavlich, who will NEVER be forced to serve. She's a chickenhawk.

If I were you, I'd think again.

Been asking this question since 2003, and worth repeating:

After getting offline last night I went to watch the TV. I was stunned by the fact of all of those who were shocked by this attack.

Folks, this will be my only post in this thread for the night.
And -- yep -- you know what it's gonna be:

Is it going to be this:

Or this:

Do you yet remain morally afraid to make the choice?

I've made mine.

And one final graphic to keep close for the rest of the eveing:

If  crimes against humanity are whats needed to prevent the total destrution of mankind  and civilization by the Korananimals  then so be it

Somebody needs to take a page from Genghis Khan
he spoke in terms the muslim savages understood, you dont just kill them by  a few hundred or a few thousand  you kill them by the hundreds of thousands

The muslims still speak of him with a shudder. The west needs grow some balls and do the same

What the hell is that supposed to imply? I'm not a man, because I'm not military material?

Short of war, how do you think we stop these attacks?

I am in favor of the draft. You the individual then get called and decide, if you will serve your country or not. If not, don't ask me to respect you.

In my generation and those before, most men served. The few that refused are justifiably held in low esteem.

I served with men that were conscientious objectors, but followed the law and wore the uniform in non-combat assignments.  They pleaded their cases in military courts.

I just heard some moronic news-babe on Fox saying that there might be some terrorists hiding amongst the Muslim refugees!  Is there any end to our stupidity? What complete idiots!  Here news-babe let me help you (and help Angela Merkel while I'm at it): there might be a few normal people hiding amongst the thousands of Muslim terrorists posing as "refugees."

Indeed. It is stunning that people are stunned. And, tragic.

Well said, and on point!

How, in the name of heaven, can anyone not see what's going on??  Take the blinders off, you fools!!

In the past several weeks I've been looking at old family photos. Those of you who are my Facebook friends have seen the ones I posted for Veterans Day. My grandfather served in WWI. He was wounded (mustard gassed) on Nov. 11, 1918. My father served in the South Pacific in WWII. He was seriously injured aboard an LST and returned after his recuperation to repatriate Japanese prisoners.

This is WWIII.

If only one American is among the dead or wounded, I'll be surprised.

We love to visit Paris. I'm not sure we'll do it again.

I have similar family-military history. Posted about it on Facebook, and was pleasantly surprised by the favorable responses.

Father, father-in-law WWII combat. Uncle WWII service, and 27 year Army career as an officer.
Maternal Grandfather WWI service.
Paternal Grandfather too young for Spanish-American War, to old for WWI; Wyoming cowboy instead.

The last time I was in Paris was 1968 and while walking down the street, I had the wonderful experience of being tear gassed.

I hear it's been a nice place since then.

No more.

The problem is that every 'leader' in Europe thinks that imaginary "climate change" is a more serious threat than Islamic terrorism.

There's no way that this temporary anger from France's leaders will result in any serious fight against this enemy.

There is no fight left in Europe.  They let in the barbarians, and the barbarians will win the war.

Hey, ML, my father was in Paris during the 1968 riots, too! He asked a protester what they hoped to accomplish, and the jeune homme had no clue.

Not entirely...I was tear gassed there going to dinner in 1984.
