I am proud that my fellow GOP voters will be the ones to break up the status quo.  The "progressive" party is all in on a career corrupt and sociopathic HRC, and the time for the Bush dynasty is over.

Who knew that populism would become a conservative platform?   What times we're living in.

Go Carson

Go Trump

Go Cruz

Go Fiorina

Go Rubio

Go anyone who will stop this endless cycle of cronyism!

I do like how they want to draft Romney.  May as well hand the WH to Hillary, if that's the case.

Quote
Less than three months before the kick-off Iowa caucuses, there is growing anxiety bordering on panic among Republican elites about the dominance and durability of Donald Trump and Ben Carson and widespread bewilderment over how to defeat them.

Party leaders and donors fear nominating either man would have negative ramifications for the GOP ticket up and down the ballot, virtually ensuring a Hillary Rodham Clinton presidency and increasing the odds that the Senate falls into Democratic hands.

The party establishment is paralyzed. Big money is still on the sidelines. No consensus alternative to the outsiders has emerged from the pack of governors and senators running, and there is disagreement about how to prosecute the case against them. Recent focus groups of Trump supporters in Iowa and New Hampshire commissioned by rival campaigns revealed no silver bullet.

I love watching the establishment and donor class sweat. They keep reaching in their wallets for money as if it were a talisman to ward off the bogeyman, Trump or Carson.

I was a donor in past elections, mainly for House and Senate candidates, but I always vote for the GOP in every race.  I've been fooled too many times by the establishment cocktail party candidates.

The Socialists got their Hope and Change in 2008, and have profited from it, along with the establishment GOP.

I want hope and change in 2016, but from someone who won't be business as usual in DC, and who won't be afraid to be combative with the enemy media.  Let's get Americans back to work first and foremost.  Who is the next Reagan?  Is it Cruz?

Well, let's see how deep Trump is willing to dig into his wallet to finance his campaign when the "donor class" doesn't fork over the cash. Trump and Carson despise the outside money, so let's see how well they do without it.

You were on a roll until you recited "Rubio".

This guy is the essence of a "young crony".

Elect him, and we're going to do as well in the White House as we did in the House with Boehner or as we're doing in the Senate with McConnell.

Yes, he's slick and smooth, but he's not to be trusted.

The Donor Class got their dream candidates McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2016.

How did that work?

They managed to pick the two guys who were guaranteed losers before the campaign even started.

Just how did these idiots get their money? It has got to be inherited wealth.

I'm worried Carson might win, too.

Yep. Whether your guy is either one of those, it's been excellent seeing the GOPe cut out of the loop. In my wildest dreams I'd like to see them split off and leave the party. One can hope.

It will be interesting to see if one of the outsiders becomes the nominee if they support them or take their ball and go home. In past elections, conservatives we're told to sit down, shut up, and vote as they were told. Let's see if they live up to their dictates.

They need to sit down, shut up, and do/vote as they are told. That's what they tell conservatives every election, time to live up to their own decrees.

I would rather see Rubio get the nomination than Hillary; but agreed that he cannot be trusted.  In order to get elected to the Senate he took an anti-amnesty stance but then became a Gang of eight member.  He voted in favor of Kerry and he voted in favor of the Iran nuke deal - yes an indicator that we would get much more of the same; he's establishment no doubt about it.

Yes Rubio is young, articulate and energetic - much more than any of the DEMS have going for them and again I would rather see him in there than Hillary, but his past track record and his lack of participation as a Senator speaks volumes.

I'm not so sure that he will get the nomination and I think he's going to have problems taking his home state of Florida.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
