America Rising Compiles Hillary Clinton’s Senate ‘Highlight Reel’
Posted By Washington Free Beacon Staff On November 8, 2015 @ 8:44 am In Politics | No Comments

With this weekend marking 15 years since Hillary Clinton was elected by New Yorkers to the U.S. Senate, America Rising has compiled a highlight reel of Clinton’s tenure from 2001 to 2009.

They included a 2003 speech about championing “transparency and openness,” 2008 remarks about Wall Street being the “lifeblood of our state’s economy,” and her 2004 statement in support of the Iraq War resolution, warning Saddam Hussein to “disarm or be disarmed.”

Clinton’s remarks about transparency were interesting given her later decision to use an unauthorized, private email server while secretary of state. Clinton, now running for the 2016 Democratic nomination, has also tried to soften criticism that she’s cozy with Wall Street and repeatedly said she made a mistake supporting the Iraq War.

The reel included Clinton’s not-so-long-ago speech opposing same-sex marriage, which she began to champion only after leaving the Obama administration.

“I believe that marriage is not just a bond but a sacred bond between a man and a woman,” Clinton said in 2004.

Clinton’s flip-flops on various issues were the subject of a Meet The Press montage, when Clinton appeared Sept. 27. Host Chuck Todd played a reel of her earlier statements on gay marriage, the Iraq War and the Keystone Pipeline, all positions on which she has swung to side with the party’s left flank.

“If we don’t learn, if we don’t make decisions based on the best information we have available, that’s regrettable, and what I’ve always tried to do is to say, ‘Ok, what is the best decision that I can think about making?” Clinton said.

Here is the video.  Really disappointing that the muttonhead who compiled this montage didn't take the time to equalize the volume from clip to clip.

Hopefully he can fix the sound because this is a really good montage.

Indeed it is.  How disappointing that nobody took the time to check it before it was posted.  you only get one chance to make a first impression.  America Rising donors should be pissed.  GOP amateur hour on display again.

Excellent.  Her "personality" is well captured.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
