Legendary Navy SEAL Offers Some Advice to Obama on Chattanooga Attack

Retired Navy SEAL, Marcus Luttrell, the man who earned a Navy Cross and Purple Heart for his heroics during a bloody 2005 battle in Afghanistan, took to social media and eviscerated Obama’s Secretary of Defense for a decision instructing Marine recruiters to avoid wearing their uniforms in public areas. The change in uniform policy was in response to the terrorist shooting in Chattanooga. Luttrell also threw in a shot at the President himself for not lowering the flags to half-mast in honor of the four Marines and one Naval officer who were killed in the attack.
The Secretary of Defense ordered the uniform change just one day after the shooting.
Luttrell responded on social media, saying when he heard the decision to tell recruiters not to wear their uniforms he “laughed out loud.”
“If anyone thinks for one second a Marine is gonna take his uniform off because he cares about his safety or is scared of some shitbag walking in off the street and trying this again that’s not gonna happen,” he added. “That’s not how we respond in the military when we get hit, we don’t take off our uniforms, drop our weapons and run.”
Luttrell also offered a solution to prevent these shooting on military bases.
“You can outfit every recruiting station with firearms, grenades or a f***ing tank, this goes down again and there is a good chance you’ll find the person beaten to death by the water cooler or stapler.”

In a separate post, Luttrell also took a shot at the President for failing to lower the flag to half-staff in recognition of those Americans who died in Chattanooga.
“Oh one more thing, lower the FLAG!!!!!!!! Sir,” Luttrell wrote.
