Dem Presidential Candidate Jim Webb: Democratic Party Has Moved ‘Way Far To The Left’

Tell us something we don’t know.

Jim Webb, a Democratic presidential candidate who stands about as much of a chance of being President as Perez Hilton, appeared on Fox News Sunday this morning to make a claim that’s well-known to anybody who’s been paying attention: The Democratic party has moved too far to the left.

Host Bret Baier pointed out to Webb that Hillary Clinton, once part of the centrist Democratic coalition built by her husband who treats her like yesterday’s newspaper, is now catering to the extreme left wing of the party. Then, he asked: “Who are the Jim Webb Democrats?”

There aren’t many of them, that’s for sure. Baier shared a graphic showing that Webb is only taking 2.3% of the vote, compared with Hillary’s 62.8%.

However, Webb defended his “centrism” (i.e., that he’s not pandering to the crackpot left like Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton).

“I believe we can bring a different tone to the Democratic party,” he said. He went on to say that the party “has moved way far to the left” and that it wasn’t his Democratic party any more.

But it is. If he doesn’t like it, he should become a Republican.
