Bernie Sanders Would "Substantially" Raise Taxes

Ever wished the US was more like Greece? Scratch that itch with Bernie Sanders.

Sanders vows to "substantially" raise taxes and has some great ideas for cabinet members.

Asked about the type of people who would make up his cabinet, Sanders ticked off the names of three liberal economists: New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize-winner Joseph Stiglitz and former Bill Clinton labor secretary Robert Reich.

Paul Krugman thinks that the more debt the country has, the better. Stiglitz chairs the Socialist International Commission on Global Financial Issues, so you know he's solidly red.

Both men are lending their special brand of expertise to Greece which has been living by their "Spend money like there's no tomorrow and raise taxes no one pays" policies.

As Greeks prepare to vote Sunday in a referendum on a recent bailout proposal from Europe and the IMF, the world's top economists are taking sides.

Nobel Prize winners Paul Krugman and Joseph Stiglitz say Greece should vote "no," and if necessary be prepared to leave the euro.

Lined up against them are 246 Greek economics professors. They say a "Grexit" would be a disaster and they're urging Greeks to vote "yes."

And if you think that's great, how about a global tax? Stiglitz is a fan of that. And don't worry, even if Bernie Sanders doesn't win (and the odds of that are poorer than Greece suddenly booming) Stiglitz will be in anyway because he's a Clinton veteran and a Soros pal.

Jindal has a point about the difference between Hillary and Bernie being that one is an open Socialist and the other is a compulsive lying Socialist.
