Graham to announce WH bid on June 1

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday suggested that he will be throwing his hat into a crowded field of GOP White House hopefuls next month.

Graham said on "CBS This Morning" that he will announce his plans in central South Carolina on June 1.

"I'm running because of what you see on television, I'm running because I think the world is falling apart," Graham added, however. "I've been more right than wrong on foreign policy."

"It's my ability, in my own mind, to be a good commander in chief and to make Washington work," he said.

Graham's comments came when asked by co-host Charlie Rose on if he thought his potential rivals were not very sophisticated on foreign policy.

The hawkish lawmaker has for months signaled that he was mulling a White House bid.

Welp, that's not a great campaign slogan...but better than what we've got right now in the White House.

Announced are Governors Huckabee, and Perry...Senators Rubio, Paul, Cruz, Santorum, and Graham...and unelected Carson, and Fiorina.  It is likely Governors Bush, Walker, Christie, Jindal and Kasich will also run.
