Walker leads Bush in new GOP poll

By David McCabe

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and a crowded field of possible Republican presidential candidates, according to a new poll.

Walker wins the support of 18 percent of GOP voters in the new Quinnipiac University pPoll, while Bush is supported by16 percent.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee trail further behind, as both get 8 percent. Ben Carson, a conservative activist, wins 7 percent in the poll.

If Bush is taken out of the poll, Walker gets 20 percent and would have a healthy lead over Christie, who gets 10 percent.

Without Walker, Bush would have the lead with 18 percent over Carson, who gets 10 percent.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton has a huge lead with 56 percent support among Democratic voters. She’s followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) with 14 percent and Vice President Biden with 10 percent.

If Clinton were to decide not to run, Biden would take the lead with 35 percent support.

The poll was conducted from Feb. 26 through March 2, largely before it was reported that Clinton had exclusively used a private email account as secretary of State.

It had a sample of 1,286 registered voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.5 percent. The margin of error was larger for the individual party samples.

You can't make this up.

The lecherous comic relief of the administration would be a frontrunner for the Democratic nomination if not for Hillary!.
