Quote
But we cannot win this war by killing them. We cannot kill our way out of this war. We need in the medium to longer term to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s lack of opportunity for jobs, whether —

MATTHEWS: We’re not going to be able to stop that in our lifetime or fifty lifetimes. There’s always going to be poor people. There’s always going to be poor muslims, and as long as there are poor Muslims, the trumpet’s blowing and they’ll join. We can’t stop that, can we?

HARF: We can work with countries around the world to help improve their governance. We can help them build their economies so they can have job opportunities for these people…

These people are absolutely delusional.

They could be in an orange jumpsuit with a knife to their throat, and they'd die thinking that they were being slaughtered because the killer didn't have access to a job training program.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Hate to tell her but a great many of the terrorists come from well-to-do families.

Then why did Fool Sucka pull out of Iraq so abruptly? We were providing stability, building their infrastructure, and helping their economy.  Isn't this very statement a contradiction of their previous action? Not to mention it was they who destabilized Syria.

The other thing is that these people scream at the slightest peep out of any Christian about anything, yet they are completely blind to the fact that most of these guys are clear that they join these organizations for very religious reasons - to fight the liberal decadence of the West. But the Muzzies get a pass and an excuse.

So.....why do we even need a Department of Homeland Security?

Using this rational, we should NEVER experience a terrorist attack on our mainland...committed by a resident alien Muslim.

If only we could find those guys who behead and burn captives alive a gig at Walmart.

This is abject stupidity and cynicism and it's everywhere in this dismal regime.

They are career bureaucrats protected by civil service rules!

Lack of opportunity of Jobs?  That would explain all the American people found
beheaded in the 1930's. Wait a minute, that never happened.

ISIS core belief is God is on their side. Without that, they don't exists. You defeat ISIS by making it clear the God is not on their side, and takes a lot of burned and mutilated ISIS corpses.

DCPatriot asks above:
[[ So.....why do we even need a Department of Homeland Security? ]]

Why, to keep the people "of the Homeland" under control, of course.

Ya ain't figgered that one out yet? ;)

Fair enough.

Any real war by which to defeat islam (and we have definitely NOT conducted such as "real war" yet, Iran and Afghanistan notwithstanding) must begin with a demonstration to the entire world that the "god of islam" and the idol to which they bow on their rugs to pray is false.

Was not there such a golden idol back in early Biblical times? What was its fate?

So it must be with islam. Their idol must be obliterated in an act of purposeful and extreme destruction. Perhaps then will the doubts be planted within their minds that their "religion" is a false one, and -- like its own idol -- cannot stand.
