"se il vous plaît ne nous attaque pas nouveau! Nous nous rendons!"

Let's all sing:

Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya;
Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya;
Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya;
Oh, Lord, kumbaya.

Someone's cryin', Lord, kumbaya;
Someone's cryin', Lord, kumbaya;
Someone's cryin', Lord, kumbaya;
Oh, Lord, kumbaya.

Someone's singin', Lord, kumbaya;
Someone's singin', Lord, kumbaya;
Someone's singin', Lord, kumbaya;
Oh, Lord, kumbaya.

Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya;
Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya;
Kumbaya, my Lord, kumbaya;
Oh, Lord, kumbaya.
Kumbaya.

Good to hear you say what I was thinking, after reading another story about the "march" above.

What we NEED to see are thousands upon thousands, perhaps millions of French marching with signs that read "send the muslims home!" -- with a healthy dose of flags flying for the National Front.

When rallies like that take to the streets, then I'll believe that country has a chance.

Until then, these "feel-good" marches do nothing but demonstrate to islam that the Euro-Christians have no stomach to fight back. "Tolerance" ain't gonna stand for much against absolute Intolerance.

Be it ten thousand or ten million, marches like this cannot win the struggle.

The French will in time realize this...

Seeing 4 million people come together for such a 'minor' (in terms of carnage) terrorist attack should serve a proof that a tipping point has been reached.  At least for the naturalized citizens of France.

Can one imagine what 4 million people descending on the White House would do?

IMO, we're getting closer where it could actually happen.  Keep it up, Barack!

Hear, hear, hear!
You've said it better than I did, after posting for years.

There are TWO struggles here.

Of course, the primary struggle is between islam and The West.

But of equal importance is the struggle within the conscience, hearts, and minds -of- The West.

It was Christianity that made western civilization possible, by reinforcing the individual's relationship to God, and promoting tolerance towards others. That "tolerance" has become such a tenet of The West -- particularly after defeating the fascistic Axis of World War II -- it is almost impossible (at least yet) for The West to act decisively and intolerantly against islam and the growing threat of an intolerant muslim influence within western nations. Ironically, the same Christian beliefs that made The West possible, now hobble it as its existence is threatened by a totally alien belief system that is anathema to everything it stands for.

Those of the Judeo-Christian heritage must find within the moral strength -- and I use the word "moral" here with deliberate intensity -- to muster within the fortitude to do what must be done -- to wage an utterly existential war for survival against the largest and most determined enemy it has ever faced and ever will face.

This is the Armageddon.
Maybe not quite yet, but that's where we're headed.
The great and perhaps the ultimate struggle between good and evil.
What was the book that predicted it?

I have one question...

"NOW WHAT?"
November 6, 2012, a day in infamy...the death of a republic as we know it.
